WOW hornets......3yrs 27million Lance Stephenson! wowowoowowoww so mad right now.

By not getting Lance to stay, Indiana has taken a step back and this would have been their year to win the east. If I were Indiana I would try to work out a sign-and-trade for Bledsoe. He is certainly an upgrade to George Hill and Bledsoe-George would be a great twosome for years to come.

If that doesn't work, I would trade for Kevin Martin. Minnesota wants to get rid of him, so he should be had for cheap. He'd be a poor man's Reggie Miller. Offensively he fills the gap left by Lance, and Kevin, CJ, and Rodney would basically all be used to replace Lance and back-up George. Martin averaged almost 20ppg last season and seems to be fine as a starter or off the bench (as he did in OKC). A trade of Martin for Chris Copeland (1-year expiring deal) would give Minnesota and Indiana what they might need for next season. Minnesota wants cap-space and rebuilding and Indiana wants the firepower to win. Done and done.

I'm waiting for the Hairston/Stephenson locker room fight. Or Lance screaming in a game for Big Al to stop hogging the ball so he can get his shots.

I am not surprised if the Jazz did not consider signing him after hearing a Lindsey interview during the summer league. He kept on mentioning how the new rookies are high character guys, and talking about how good character in a player is so important.

Lance Stephenson on the Bobcats will be one of the most intriguing non-Jazz story lines for me. Want to see how his game translates on a non-elite team.

Because the current Cavs roster is worse than last year's Heat roster.

Irving still can't play defense and how will he play alongside a super-star?

Big men for the Cavs are sub-par.

How ready will Wiggins be?

All of this on top of chemistry that will take time, lack of depth if they get Love (and trade 2-4 guys out), lack of proven playoff players and more specifically, role players, who can hit big shots and which every championship team seems to have (i.e., Battier, Allen), as well as, and I find this funny because it was a problem in Miami last season, age for certain guys (Mike Miller, Allen presuming they get him) who are now shells of their former selves, not only this coming year but going forward even worse. And this isn't even mentioning the fact that Chicago should be getting much better in the East and OKC and the Spurs are still out west. IMO, that's no shot.

The cherry on top going forward which I find hysterical is that if they get Love (which I think they will), he'll pretty much be maxed and they'll have a boatload of dough tied up in three guys, just like in Miami, only with two of those guys being mediocre defenders and their role players being far worse than when Miami was winning with Battier, Allen, and guys like Chalmers and Cole when they were playing solid in the post-season. And the talk again in a year or two will come to how Lebron still needs more guys around him.

At least this is how I see it playing out.
