Exactly. That dress looked gold to me, and I wasn't able to see the dark version.
Definitely Laurel. I can't do anything to hear yannie. I don't see how you could possibly get a Y sound to start.
Even when I slide this thing all the way to yanny it doesn't sound like yanny. I don't hear the y sound to start.

I heard it first on TV and heard Yanni. Listened on my iPad hours later and heard Yanni, but it really sounded more like Yarri. Since I knew it was an illusion of some kind, I listened as if it were visual like an optical illusion. I listened carefully. I heard Laurel, and over time it became impossible to hear Yanni again. That actually happened fairly quickly. Irritated me a little. With the visual illusions, you can usually learn to see the image both possible ways. But I hear Laurel now, and don't believe I'm going to be able to hear Yanni again:-(

3 people at my work I talked to heard Yanny but when they put the speaker closer it changed to Laurel for them. 2 of them said after it changed to Laurel they couldnt get it to go back to Yanny. A few others all heard Laurel.
I think the word is really Laurel but if you hear Yanny something may be wrong with your hearing. Because why would it change to Laurel if you moved it closer to your ear or listened with headphones?
I tried putting the phone far way and still got Laurel, so I dont know. Weird.

In the middle, I hear "yanny". If I go all the way to Laurel, I heard "laurel". Now if I go back to Yanny step by step, I'll hear "Laurel" up to the step before the last. At that point it switches to "yanny" again. If I go back to Laurel step by step, the same thing happens. "Yanny" "Yanny" "Yanny" Yanny"... "Laurel" "Laurel".
Will there be an upcoming patch for this? Or are we stuck with this bug forever?
I only hear Yanny.
If I go all the way to Laurel, Ill hear it, but then I go back to anywhere else and I hear Yanny. Then I go back all the way to Laurel and I can only hear Yanny.

Wow, ya that is crazy. Im getting something similar except not consistent. Sometimes I can keep it saying Laurel or Yanny if I move it slow enough, but it doesnt change at the same spots. Going back and forth it changes at different spots each time

I can hear both.
I put it all the way on the right and heard yanny and slowly slide it all the way back. Each time I slide it a little bit I thought yanny and sure enough I heard it all the way back to the left. Then I mentally switched to Laurel I heard that clear as day too.
Pretty damn trippy. Science and audio waves are cool.

It’s Laurel.
Cool slider. For me, when it's in the middle I hear laurel and can't comprehend how anyone can hear Yanny. But if I move the slider just under a box to the right, then I can hear both simultaneously. And if I slide it any father to the right than that, it's clearly Yanny and I can't really hear laurel at all any more.

I just saw a video on YouTube titled Yanny or Laurel? It's pretty funny. *spoilers.* it consists of and Asian dude sitting at a computer. While looking at his desktop screen he asks, "is it laurel or yanny?" Or something like that. He clicks on something and then you hear his computer respond in Stephen Hawking-esque voice (rest his soul) that simply says, Go duck yourself. Needless to say, I lol'd.

The first recording I listened to I heard Yanny. With the slider one I herd Laurel in the middle, then heard yanny when I was at the second spot to the end, but as I went back I only heard yanny until I hit the middle and then it was laurel, but going the other way i got back to the second to last spot before it turned back into yanny.
