Yet another Q rumor

Somewhat interesting side note, Doc rivers was fired 2 separate times after losing to the Jazz. I wonder how he would react to coaching them.
Well if you say so. My informal Google research only turned up two firings in his 22 year coaching career and neither of those had anything to do with losses incurred against the Jazz. I do remember taking him down in that one excellent series when Jingles played some amazing D on Reddick. (Please feel free to set me straight.)

To be clear, he wouldn’t be my first choice, but he’s got the coaching pedigree and he does have some history with Ainge. Both straight shooters imo and for whatever it’s worth, both top tier NBA players in their day.

When do we get the LGBT rumors? Just the Q rumors? Seems discriminatory. Don't even get me started on the +.

Snyder, who is known for having very good offensive sets and a solid defensive foundation, has led the Jazz to the playoffs for the sixth consecutive season. He was an assistant with the Lakers while on the staff of coach Mike Brown in 2011-2012. Not only is Snyder under contract with the Jazz for at least one more season, people not authorized to speak publicly on the matter said he has become less interested in the Lakers’ job because of how the Vogel firing was handled.

The fact that the front office is happy with Snyder right probably tells you that their plans to “drastically” remake the roster this off season if things go south consist of trading Bogey or something and running it back.

We're doing what the franchise did in the Stockton and Malone era: essentially keep the core two and throw in minor pieces and hope it elevates the team to an actual contender.

You've just got to hope there's a Horny out there and that the two can stick together while the process unfolds like S&M did for so many years.

I mean, I kinda get it. The Jazz with Mitchell and Gobert is a playoff team, maybe one that lucks out and somehow gets to the Conference Finals one year, but probably not a real contender. Still, it's a guaranteed winning team and playoff berth, where blowing it up is a huge risk. You could trade Mitchell or Gobert, fail to get return value and the next thing you know, we're the Kings.

Of course, the risk of not blowing it up is prolonging the inevitable and everything crashing and burning anyway.

It sucks. The Jazz is in that comfortable middle where it's not so bad you gotta blow things up (see: the Lakers) but not good enough to give you any hope this team will be a contenders, even with some marginal moves (see: Memphis or even Dallas).

But like I said, maybe they can find their Horny.

Prior to 1996-97, I don't think many expected the Jazz to get over the western hump. They were too old and too flawed. LA with Shaq and Kobe, and Seattle with Payton and Kemp, were the new WC elites. But then the Jazz won the West finally.

Maybe something similar happens. Or maybe we're just destined to have a ceiling that's the semifinals.

I'm cool with doing that... the problem is Donovan likely is not. Stock and Malone were pretty committed to each other... though Karl would demand trades here and there. The NBA is just different now....

Also "Finding Horny" name of your sex tape.

I agree that he's not likely okay with it. That makes finding our Horny important this off-season if possible.

Maybe finding Horny is really just firing Quin and hiring Horny?

So we need to get Horny fast.

Quin might be gods gift to coaching and he's just being held back. I don't believe it, but if he was, he's probably not helping this team get further. I think he goes to SAS, and he will help them.

You need to believe in the system and all of its wonderful metrics. It will set you free.

Yeah blowing leads as much as his team has done and failing to make key adjustments doesn't mean much I guess right ?
Quin's power is limited when the main player responsible for those blown leads has more power and influence within the organization than he does.
