You Didn't Build Your Business

It is rather disgusting that the libtard who hates the military, confessed that he was too wussy to join it, and pouted about Romney wanting a strong one just invoked it.

Care to quote me on the whole "hates the military" thing? That's a pretty bold statement. I imagine you'll just ignore this post and move on to something else you can be wrong about, as usual.

He works really hard to completely dismiss the efforts of one side of the supposed symbiotic relationship.

Huge screwup.

Wrong. Any reasonable, fair minded person will understand what he's trying to say. You're view is filtered through intense partisanship and you're seeing what you want to see.

Reasonable people took it in context and were disgusted with the remarks.

Huge screwup that revealed his extreme liberal ideology.

It`s sad how people twist others` words like this. He was obviously talking about the roads and bridges that allow people to access their businesses. Just a bunch of blind hate. Not surprising people went crazy over it, since so many Republicans are easily fooled. And they scare easily too.

I laugh at the people who got pissy over this. Bunch of idiots.

That is simply misinformed. Americans (both left and right) are easily fooled. I see the choice as letting the left hand rob me while I watch the right hand or the right hand robbing me while I watch the left hand.

It wasn't a twist. He literally said, IF YOU'VE GOT A BUSINESS, YOU DIDN'T BUILD THAT. SOMEBODY ELSE MADE THAT HAPPEN.

Obama is a dumb ***, and it really shows when he is without his teleprompter.

While I agree with you that Obama wasn't saying what Hopper is accusing him of, I disagree with you that what he was really saying was so obvious. The president could have chosen his words more carefully and conveyed his message in a much more clear manner. If he had, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Regarding your contention that Republicans are easily fooled, seriously? People are easily fooled. Democrats use the same tactics to scare their base into action just as much as the GOP ever has.

No doubt they both rob us. But Republicans do it a little better than democrats (as far as the percentages of people being robbed)

A Republican Nation is a bit selfish, generally too arrogant in world views, and would be on a path to destruction quicker than a Democrat-led Nation.

But either way, we`re on a path to destruction.

Wow... just wow.

If you truly believe that then you ar eblinded by the lies of the left into believing the right is lying. They ways they do it are different but they are both great scam artists and liars.

Does he take out his trash, build his own store, create his electricity, pump his own water into his store? We are all connected whether you like it or not. Life isn't about one person taking credit for everything, and doing it on your own. No one does it all on their own. You are protected, and have a place to create a business because of the sacrifices others make for that freedom. We are a communities, states, and together a nation.

The more we lose that sense of togetherness, the farther into a freefall we'll go.

This is a dumbass response to Trout's post. I have a hard time that you'd intentionally be this ignorant so I assume that you're merely trying to provoke a response. Which... You've done a masterful job for this worthless thread. For that, I congratulate you on.

However, nothing in Trout's post specifically mentions the military. In fact, when I first read it, I thought about previous business owners, courageous immigrants, and hard working railroad workers. Pearl, do farmers not invest blood, sweat, and tears? Don't when we talk about the military we speak of them as those who have "given" their lives into the making of this country/maintaining our freedoms? That's typically the language used when describing the sacrifices of those in the armed forces, right? While his post clearly doesn't exclude the military, I think he's more or less describing the efforts of Americans in general for the success of this country.

So nice try at stirring the pot.

And if you'll excuse me, I have to go wash my mouth out for defending Trout. I feel so nasty inside...
