There are a lot of threads going on right now, with a lot of negativity, myself included. So let's talk about future Jazz moves, and what we think the next year could look like.

The offseason will be interesting any way you look at it. Some might be really upset (if the Jazz re sign all the FA's they have right now). We could go ultra lean and sign minimum players and play the young guys. We could make a huge trade and take on a superstar for one or more of our core guys. What do you guys think will happen? Post your thoughts here!

Edit: I specifically left out the draft because there are like 500 threads on that topic, but feel free to include draft predictions!

My first prediction:

Alec Burks, the 21 pick and K Murph (or other pieces not excluding Burks)

For

Eric Bledsoe and a junk piece from the Clips or Deandre Jordans contract.

the clips won't trade Bledsoe until cp3 has signed on the dotted line. so that will be after the draft.

I stated it before, but I see us targeting Brand of Millsap is not back and Kaman if Al leaves. Both would start but the season-long mantra and buzz would be that the starting spot is Kanter's/Favors' to earn and we'll get a season-long justification for why they haven't earned it yet and how they can't 'just be given the starting spot without taking it'.

I'll throw a fit if we got that soft geezer Gasol to steel all of our young bigs' minutes.

Can't CP3 sign an extension before free agency?

I think his last contract was an extension, so I think it is new contract time for him. I believe he is committed to going back to the clips though, so they might make a move on draft day.

playoff tested veteran, compliment and train, for one season

Just remove the bolded words, insert the others and you have just read the script from the Jazz press conference.

haha, I just realized that I wrote in title "You heard it HEAR... Stupid spelling nemesis. haha

There will be a big signed one way or the other. Question you have to ask yourself is which Big would you want out of Gasol, Sap, Big Al, Kaman and Brand? 1 Big will not steal all of the minutes. I fully expect to see Favors start and kanter be the primary back up next year. Favors will get 33 ish minutes and Kanter will get 25.

I would be fine with Gasoft on our team. He could teach our young guys probably even more than Jefferson did. What I would not be fine with is if we signed two bigs that demand big minutes. If we get Brand, Gasol, Kaman, whoever, I expect to see Favors starting and Kanter getting those 25 or so minutes like you said.

2 to start

Paul gasol to Utah for Marvin Williams

Alec burks and 2 protected 1st for Eric Bledsoe.

First those two picks better be top 20 protected, and second if we are giving two picks, I sure as hell am not Dow with just giving up Burks with those picks for the Clips backup. So pick either or, but not both. Either we give Burks streght up or the two picks.

The insane package you want to give up is pretty close to the package we got for Deron. I'm not saying its as good, but Bledsoe is no where near Deron's level. Don't get me wrong I love Bledsoe's game, but if the jazz want him they just need to be patient and the price will come down, similar to the trade the Bucs just made for Darrelle Revis. The jets wanted two firsts, and ended up only getting a first this year and a probable third next.

I predict we don't spend over $5 million on a free agent, including our own. Greg is going to be a cheap ******* this offseason.
