You think Dallas regrets not keeping MoWill now?

Anyone else agree that Dallas must be kicking themselves right now for not keeping MoWill in the Lamar Odom deal instead of taking our trade exception? Since the trade, the Mavericks have lost Terry, Kidd, and maybe Delonte West and failed to sign Deron Williams. Now Dallas gets to pick from the likes of Ramon Sessions and Raymond Felton. Suckers! :D

I think Cuban really thought it was almost a slam dunk Deron would want to return to his home as a returning "hero" and that he'd bring Howard with him.

It's not too late to send them Devin Harris. What would they offer?

I actually wouldn't mind a deal where we sent Harris to Dallas, Jefferson to Chicago, take back Deng and Dallad sends pick and cash to Chicago.

The deal doesn't go through until Wednesday. Personally, I'm not crazy about taking back Marvin Williams' longer contract.

I'd probably still prefer Marvin to anything Dallas has on their roster. Although Dallas's draft picks are starting to look better and better (mid first round maybe?)

I've got to think that Dallas would have a heightened interest in Harris right now if he were theoretically available.

Doubt KOC reneges on a trade, though. That wouldn't go over well in NBA front office circles.

Depends on what we get. Sometimes you play hardball.

ATL did just sign Lou Williams too, maybe it becomes a mutual agreement to undo the deal. ATL now has 3 startign PG's in Teague, Harris & Lou-Will.

I think it's a done deal. Mo had that press conference with the Jazz. He's already got his heart set on joining our team. And remember the thing that clinches the deal was for Mo to join the Jazz (not the Mavs) for 1 more year.

I'm talking about the Devin Harris deal.

I know the OP was about Mo but I think the "done deal" was the Harris trade because of the waiting period until July 11th before it can be official, not that I think Dallas has anything better or think it would actually happen.

Lol, agreed. It's awesome when Billionaires don't get what they want....Have fun with Sessions or Felton Cuban!
