My vote would be for Rudy Gay if we signed someone on this list. He averages 18.4 PPG for his career and his shooting percentages aren't terrible. With Hayward and Hill gone we are severely lacking offensively. He's coming off of an Achilles injury but if we sign him to a 1 year contract or 1 year plus a team option it's a pretty low risk move.

I would pick Rudy Gay on a 1 year deal or wait until the Celtics unload one of their SF and grab Crowder.

i think we shouldn't do anything drastic other that focus in on those with the most physical gifts an highest potential and play and develop them to the absolute max this year ... even if it means sacrificing quite a few wins. Play Mitchell and Exum a tonne, let them loose. See what Hood can do, see if Favors is healthy and what he can do.

See what's happening at the deadline, but go with honing in on the best raw talent.

Just think how some of the SF on Boston feel today. What I am not good enough or am I going to get a fair shake with Hayward and Stevens being buddies.

Looked this thread up to see if I could find the link that inspired it titled "Top available small forwards in free agency". Not here but did find it via google: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2709218-free-agency-rankings-top-available-small-forwards
Some salient points: Sefolosha ranked #2 in ESPN's defensive real plus minus for free agent small forwards. Is ranked ahead of Gay and Bogdanovic that both scored much bigger contracts. Everyone in the list has been signed except for Mbah a Moute #8 (big surprise must be stonewalling). Our boy Joe Ingles came in at #5 directly behind Iggy at #3 and Otto Porter at #4.

Not really surprising that he didn't get any votes in the poll as A)this was posted before Hayward had declared; and B)the poll only ran for a week; and possibly C) Sefolosha had a groin pull that kept him out of the Hawks' short playoff run last season.

We already signed him. Thabo.

I'm not kidding. He will defend better than Hayward and we will perform better.

I checked him out on purpose and mentioned his name before even he was signed.

This. ^^^ (Kind of. . .)

Hood needs to get bigger and stay healthy. He and Rudy will be the primary two guys to improve their offensive numbers so the Jazz can score enough points on a nightly basis. Having Rubio leading the offense will help a lot.

As for who will replace Hayward in the lineup. . . I think Jingles gets the call and Thabo gets a ton of minutes off the bench. Hood, Burks and Mitchell will hold down the SG spot.

I agree that jingles replaces him in the lineup.
I can pretty much guarantee that the starting lineup will be rubio, hood, ingles, favors, gobert. If no trades happen and we are healthy.

Yep. I posted some details yesterday about how Joe Ingles increased his production in games he started and then even more in games where he got more than 30 minutes. Between Jingles and Joe Jesus. . . I think that the Jazz will fare just fine on the offensive end of things. Especially if Favors can get and stay healthy. He is our X factor this year. Rubio will move the ball, but this team is build around the Wasatch Front.

Agree with everything.
Hoping so much for the Rim Reapers to be healthy all year. That's the key to everything.

I would be very happy and very excited to watch that lineup this year.

Me too. I think that's a playoff team even in the ultra stacked west.
