I’ve gone for NAW because he would be a steal in our draft range. Probably the best player on the list. Also selected Bazley and Horton-Tucker. I’d like us to take a gamble on their potential.

I’ve completely written off following the draft this year. Last time I did that, we traded the pick for Hill.

you all know i like Samanic and he performed very well at the Chicago predraft camp. My first option on that list is NAW he would be perfect next to mitchell in the back court, Samanic is second. I would love to trade for BAzely and see if we could develop him

I’d be okay with drafting NAW, Bazeley, Clapton, Horton-Tucker, Samanic or Windler. Or finding a way to move up to get Clarke. I’d most likely be disappointed with anyone else. However, at the end of the day I trust the Jazz brass to make the right pick and I’ll talk myself into liking whatever they decide to do with it.

Nickeil won't be available so I'll just eliminate him. Keldon Johnson will almost certainly be gone too, so same thing there. I like each of the remaining prospects on various levels. Windler and Samanic would probably top my list amongst that group.

I realize that Nickeil isn't slipping to 23, but I threw that in for comparison. There actually is a small chance Keldon Johnson could slip if teams prefer Kevin Porter Jr., Talen Horton Tucker and the other UK guys to him. If a team or two takes a big, like Bruno Fernando or Daniel Gafford, that will also push a guy or two down.

I think the Jazz will definitely consider trading out of the pick, and I wouldn't be surprised if they trade back a bit. It just depends on what the offer is. Jazz can get a rotation player or possible starter, like Okpala, Windler or Samanic, at 23, so the offer to move would need to be worthwhile.

This draft seems incredibly weak. Outside of Zion, are there any expectations that this draft will provide any Allstars or future starters? Seems like the worst draft since 2000ish when kiss tattoo Kmart was the “best” player to come out of it.
