Your ideal Lauri trade package?

I could believe Philly would and should go all in like this since the Atlantic Division looks brutal. But, I don’t think it’s enough, especially if/since you can’t trade another team’s swap (unless they consent, which I don’t know why a team would without sweetening).
I could be wrong but I think once they trade the pick swap it’s free game unless there is specific language in it. I’m not 100% sure though. Pick swaps aren’t talked about enough.

You cannot trade swaps per se, but you can trade your right in the precedence (whether its higher or lower).

So if Philly owns "more favourable of X/Y", they can trade us that right but the other team will never get our pick so we would get "most favourable of X/Y/Z", the other team would still get "less favourable of X/Y" and Philly would get whatever is left over.

I think Bridges was the "big game" that Ainge was talking about, but NY gave up almost everything to get him which was admitted a redonkulous package. Given nothing else seems to heating up this clsoe to FA, they're probably ready to reset the timeline and the ripcord.
Sadly.. I think this is spot on.

I think we still have a couple targets including Miles Bridges. That’s what I’m watching.

I think so too. They could not give up such a warchest for Bridges. A Lauri/Mikal tandem is not good enough to realistically contend and they would've had few assets left to improve. That team would be right back to square one with a Don/Rudy type ceiling at best. Unfortunately the cost for 2 way players this team desperately needs is ridiculously high at this point. Still baffles me why the Bulls didn't demand a pick for Caruso.

Drafting 3 prospects to add to the 3 they already drafted last year is a pretty big sign they changed direction and are not going for the playoffs next season. Andy Larsen is already changing his tune and talking about potentially renting their capspace for assets. Why on earth they didn't get an asset for taking that Collins contract is still a head scratcher but it's water under the bridge.
Collins is a rehab project, but he's not without uses. He's serviceable in a few ways and we're not really signing an FA. Worst case, he's ballast for a later deal.
