The Nets traded for Okur because Brook Lopez was injured. They wouldn't have dropped 10 mil down for him otherwise. No team would or could have given the Jazz the TPE (and subsequent cap room) that New Jersey offered. And of course, Lopez wasn't injured until training camp, after the amnesty period. And you want to amnesty Harris to pickup Billups. YOU STILL HAVE TO PAY THE PLAYER. Thus, 17 mil and change of Harris' contract, plus the amount for Billups, which would have had to been over 2 mil.

Summing up, there was NO WAY the Jazz could have gotten Billups at a discount price. NONE. Zero. Zip. This is why people are calling you stupid in this thread.

You don't know what the hell you're talking about, but to be honest, you're not even worth explaining things to anymore. It just goes in one ****ing ear and out the other.

At least have the balls to pick one username and stick with it. You're not fooling anyone by trying to make it look like there are multiple idiots who are as stupid as you are.

Andrew and Aaron are twins. They're very good .. both top 5 or so, iirc. I think Jabari is undeniably #1 .. though Andrew is good enough to have that in doubt. I've seen all three play in person, all three fantastic for 16 year olds .. I'm old.
 
Augustin could work for us. A guy who has some experience, but is young enough to still be good when our youngsters are more developed. He's averaging 15 and 7 in only his fourth season while shooting a decent percentage from 3. Sounds adequate enough. He could be a younger version of what we were hoping Harris could be for us, and we could theoretically get him without giving anything up (free agency FTW).
