Utah's 2010 Recruiting Class

With national letter of intent day about a week away, I'm very interested to see how Utah's 2010 class turns out. While I'm hoping to see some immediate dividends from the Pac12 move, I'm also curious to see if the hiring of Norm Chow sways any late commits in Utah's direction.

I'm praying that's the case with the #8 rated QB in the nation (4-Star), Michael Eubank. I guess Eubank had given Arizona State a verbal a while back but recently decided to make a visit to Utah's campus last weekend. Now's there's speculation that Utah is the frontrunner.

If true, that would be HUGE for Utah. Here's his highlight vid:

Here's a highlight vid for 4-star WR Anthony Denham out of East LA. This kid is a 6'6" monster. His reported interest in Utah is high and most stuff I've read lists Utah as the frontrunner for now.

And here's another 4-star WR prospect, Devin Lucien. His highlight video made my jaw hit the floor. It almost hurts to watch it because Utah is probably no more than a darkhorse candidate to land him.

And here comes the argument between Salty, Jazzman12, and Conan. I can hardly wait.

Congrats.

Florida State has the number one recruiting class in the country right now. 11 top 150 players. So stoked as well.

sweet I wouldn't mind seeing some fresh faces like them. Utah's got a good rep now, im sure lots of peeps are waiting in line.

Utah lost out on some big recruits today. 4-Star QB Michael Eubank decided to stay with his original ASU commitment and WR Devin Lucien chose UCLA. It sounds like last night Eubank called Whitt and gave him a verbal only to change his mind again later in the day. I hope there's a silver lining because it's been reported that during Eubank's trip to Utah the coaching staff told him that he'd be behind Robels and Tyler Shreve entering Spring Ball (obviously Wynn will still be on the shelf at this point). Hopefully that's a sign that Utah feels really good about Robels and Eubank chose to go to ASU in an effort to play sooner.

Overall it's still a good class for the Utes so far. They did great at RB and did manage to land WR Antonio Denham. Hell maybe Shreve proves to be a solid QB prospect as long as he can avoid getting in fist fights with his coaches.

I'm excited for Denham and RB John White, we always land JC guys that can come in and make a immediate impact.

here's White highlight:

The RB from Bingham High school is the best recruit the Utes have. Problem the best college football recruit ever in the history of college football.

I'm guessing he meant "probably".

Recruiting is a big guessing game, but when the highly recruited kids pan out, they usually end up better than the ones that come out of the woodwork.

The Eubanks highlights were good, and he looks good, but I started to think that #5 WR was the main guy on the highlights. He looked pretty good too.

Nope, I guess he meant "Problem".

Weird

Seriously, though, am I the only the one that thinks a word and types a totally different word? I do that all the time. Maybe I do have a learning disability? My mom tends to think I'm special - so does KEK, Vinylone, Kicky, GoJazz, Troutbum, Numberica, etc.

*feelings hurt.

It happens all the time, except the rest of us read, or preview our post before hitting the button.
