What's new

HalleFreakinLujah! Sloan is FINALLY gone!!!!!

I can't be happy about Sloan leaving under these conditions. I just can't.

He has been the backbone of the Jazz for all but two of the years I have followed the Jazz, with Frank Layden being the only other Jazz coach I have ever known.

Yes, there have been times I thought maybe Sloan was part of a larger team problem. This has been true since the failed Finals runs vs. the Bulls.

But I never, ever wanted to see Jerry leave like this.

It is a shame. A true shame. I cannot be happy.

Nice to see Deron Williams, a classy guy, force out his coach. Poor Deron now though, media is going to rip him a new one. The Lakers can't wait to get Deron now in free agency later on.

"He's a fox-hole guy and those people are rare," legendary point guard John Stockton said. "So is Phil. They've been a package deal for a long time. The Jazz are losing two incredible people in one swoop, but I know they will rebound."

Props to OP. Thanks for breaking the good news.

Not about Sloan, that sucks.

I'm talking about the silver lining. My sources say that Matt Harpring will now be used as a mule out in front of a John Deere tractor, minus a motor, plowing fields somewhere in Indiana.

And I can still hear her complain.

Did any of you watch the press conference. Greg said, Sloan wsnt in any way forced to resign, they tried to get him to stay. He also said that no players forced him to resign or anything so please shut up about the whole D-will thing.
