GO GET GEORGE HILL

No it isn't. Unprotected picks are hard to come by, and regardless of how unlikely you think injuries are, a couple key injuries could turn that pick to gold. The okc pick is trash in comparison, because it doesn't have that possibility. Like I said, I've beaten this same horse for years when people wanted to trade the NY pick for role players. Utah is very unlikely to trade the GS pick, when they have the okc pic and they could trade 2 of their own consecutive picks, and control the protection.

Curry could go out the entire year and they are still making the playoffs.

The pick should be traded before too long as it still retains some of that "random chance" value. I

I will say if we could wait to trade for Hill until the trade deadline, I would do it.

If Exum really shows a big leap, I would probably not trade for Hill.

If Exum is still showing the same tentativeness on the offensive end, I would make the trade for Hill. Would give Hill 28 mpg and Exum to 20 mpg.

What about something like.

Jazz trade Trey Burke and Trey Lyles
Pacers trade Roy Hibbert and George Hill
Mavs trade Devin Harris and 2018 1st lottery protected

Jazz gets George Hill
Pacers gets Devin Harris, Trey Lyles, and Dallas 2018 1st(LP)
Mavs gets Roy Hibbert and Trey Burke

He was one of the more efficient PG's last year..... not sure what you are talking about. That was on a bad Indy team without much team help.

He was 5th in Hollinger's power rankings. Not that that means anything per se but damn that's a good score.

I thought about replying to this but smh. I really hope you aren't Hantlers as they say. Hantlers was a hick but he wasn't anywhere near this dumb.

A 3-way trade with that pain in the *** "i won't play fer ewetah" Ty Lawson makes more sense for the Pacers. They get an upgrade on the offensive end to sell to fans, Denver gets future assets or whatever they sell to there stoned fans, and Utah gets a pg.

I'm still not a fan of taking on a player who helps us win more games but not enough to matter tho. I'd rather keep the picks.

The Pacers could still make a deal for Lawson. They could package some draft picks as it appears Denver is on a complete rebuild. The reason I pick the Mavs is if they end up missing on DeAndre Jordan they could see Hibbert as the anchor. Plus they need a PG of the future and may be willing to take a chance on Burke and all it would cost them is a future 1st and a bench player.

HOLY **** AN UNPROTECTED PICK FORM THE TEAM THAT JUST WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP?!?!?! I HAD NO IDEA!!!!

*Sarcasm* The Warriors aren't falling off any time soon. That pick will be #23 at best.

Dude you are just stupid now adays, not sure what happened to you, tbh. That's two years off numbnut, anything can happen, Curry has weak ankles, someone could leave, a million of things could happen. Get your head out of your *** and wake up.

Ok nostradumbass. Not like players ever get injured. 2 years away and anything could happen. People made the same predictions for years about the pick that turned into Hayward.

Thank god, someone knows something around here.

I'd love to have George Hill if Exum struggles, maybe even if he doesn't, but Lyes + a future pick is too much.

I'd trade Burke + a couple of non-guaranteed contracts + a couple of our future second round picks for Hill.

Curry has weak ankles?

He had 1 season of bad injuries (which coincided with the year they purposely tanked, so it can be reasoned that he sat out more than he actually needed to). He isn't injury prone.

They aren't going to be in the lottery as long as they have Thompson/Curry/Green together. You can say "What if" all you want, but I'm taking the realistic approach.

A late lotto pick and what is going to be a late first round pick isn't too much for a top 15 starting PG. You are dumb as ****.

Nah you are dumb as ****, Durant had no injury history and he got injured this year didn't he? Did OKC make the playoffs? But but but they are good and have Westbrook and Durant nothing bad will ever happen their pick will be late 20's.

You know what kind of offers the Pacers got for Hill at the draft? Brendan Haywood's non-guaranteed contract and #24. FOH with your nonsense, educate yourself before you try to argue with people.

Also, Steve Kerr subscribes to the school of thought of managing minutes. This isn't a Tom Thibodeau team where he projects to run his team into the ground in 2 years.

Use your brain. I know its hard.

What are the odds of that happening? It's very low.

To say it's not worth trading because HOLY **** SOME WEIRD LUCK THING MIGHT HAPPEN WHERE TWO OF THE BEST PLAYERS ON THE TEAM HAPPEN TO HAVE SEASON ENDING INJURIES is dumb as ****.

Sounds like they need some better offers then.

Late lottery pick and a late first round pick for a top 15 starting PG is a fair deal.

Steph has Achilles' ankles. "Tissue-paper ankles," as I've often called them on "First Take." Twice he has had ankle surgery, once to repair ligaments and once to clean out loose bodies. He has turned or tweaked his ankles countless times, sometimes while just dribbling half-speed. He has missed 54 games over four NBA seasons and has winced though many more.

He is in danger of becoming the point guard version of 6-foot-11 Bill Walton, who once played as audaciously as he speaks. Walton was an NBA MVP and a Finals MVP but limped through parts of 10 NBA seasons battling all sorts of foot and ankle injuries, finally winding up as (sad but true) a Sixth Man of the Year for Boston in 1985-86. Talk about what might have been. Walton had the skill, spring and Frisbee-chasing energy to dominate for two decades. But he needed ankle fusion after his career ended.

Please, not Steph. Not a young man whose basketball artistry is matched by his spirituality, whose shooting range is as deep as his character. Curry's Bible tells him that bad things do happen to good men -- that God can work in painfully mysterious ways.

Please, God, not this man. Give him ankles. - Skip Bayless, 2013

Once again, educate yourself.

And yes, the Warriors are actually much better suited to sustain success even if he a key player goes down for extended amount of time. Even if Curry misses half the season, they would still make the playoffs.

The overreaction to Curry's 1 season of ankle problems is hilarious in hindsight.

Educate yourself: Curry has played over 74 regular season games every year of his career but one. He also played in numerous playoff games. He played over 100 games this year. He also hardly missed any games during his college career.
