I really wish the board hadn't crashed, so I could dig up some of the rubbish people wrote about trading the Hayward pick for crap. Same reasoning being used here. Not my fault you have no comprehension as to the potential value of an unprotected pick, regardless of the odds of it paying off. I'm sure if you had been a fan back in the day, you would have been jumping up and down with glee over trading the Magic pick and letting go of Moses Malone to sign Gail Goodrich. Unprotected picks don't grow on trees, and trading them because you think you know what's going to happen in two years is asinine, especially when you have other assets that are sufficient to make the deal work. That pick is on the table for a star or maybe a top prospect and nothing less, so forget about it.
