The ESPN "highlights" for the game tonight included a 45 second flashback of multiple replays of the Derozan dunk, followed by Gobert's miss in the 1st quarter under the rim, followed by the final score.

Hood and Burks were horrible from 3. Got to hit a few more than that boys. If they both make 2 more we win. Its as simple as that.
Favors, and Hayward were solid. Booker and the end of the bench is lifeless.

Derrick Favors on the difference between the young Jazz and the veteran Mavs? "They know how to get away with certain stuff."

Don't diss Burks ... Fish will have a convulsion
Not really true.
I always agree when people talk about his bad defense. (I think he has been as bad defensively this year as ever. No improvement on that end whatsoever)
I also think he is a horrible mid range shooter and hate when he takes long twos which he does too often.

I even agree that he needs to take open threes when he gets the chance and I don't think he does it enough.

Just think that saying he should shoot more threes in the first half of a gamethread that he has taken 4 threes in is bad timing. I think 4 threes in a half is more than enough..... Especially when it's not like he was shooting a bunch on his drives (only took 4 attempts on drives in the first half. And took 4 threes)

Anyone have a gif of Hood's missed dunk?

Just want to see a replay of it. I think Hood is way more athletic than he ever shows in games and can really get up when he jumps.

He has more hops than Burks or Hayward imo.
I remember seeing him at the jazz scrimmage his rookie year in the warm up layup line throwing down some amazing dunks. I was blown away by it cause I didn't think he was so athletic from watching him in college

... Like I said already, I was praising him for taking the wide open 3's dude. I guess I can understand the initial misinterpretation (although the fact that I said it directly after a made wide open 3 should've given it away), but don't know why you keep bringing it up well after I clarified.

But like I said before, in the future I'll preface those type of posts with "I am praising Burks." Maybe put it in all caps and bold font as well. Whatever it takes to avoid your wrath.

I don't consider the below post as praise. I look at it more as advice or a suggestion
If Dallas is gonna dare Burks to shoot 3's... he should shoot them.
Now these next posts are what I call praise
Good, keep shooting the 3's Burks.

Burks baby

Can anyone stay in front of Burks 1v1..?

Burks is sick.

No way he has more than Burks.

None of our players really use their vertical ability all that well though. Burks and Hood seem to be too slender to consistently throw down on people and Hayward isn't explosive enough to do it on good rim protectors.

Not praise

Uhh, that last one I said in response to you saying Burks should drive even if his defender is sagging off of him. As justification for why him shooting wide open 3's is good.

No offense dude, but you really suck at figuring out context. Like I said already, I guess I can understand the initial misinterpretation, but given that I TOLD you it was more of a "Hell, if Dallas is going to keep leaving Burks open, he should just keep shooting wide open 3's", AND given it was said RIGHT AFTER he made a wide open 3... I don't know what else to tell you.

But no worries, I'll make it super clear in the future so even a five year old can tell I'm praising Burks.
