and to a lesser degree, toes, hands and feet.

Any idea what it is? I'm actually starting to get concerned. Diabetes? Heart issues? I have had lower back pain for about six months now and I'm wondering if I have a pinched nerve that is causing it.

Any help would be very much appreciated. I am 40 and worry and am starting to worry about my health.

That's sucks man. Getting old ain't for ******* that's for sure.
I have no idea what is wrong with ya and no advice so I'm sorry for that. Hope you get some answers and get to feeling better.

I swear, year after year I get more aches and pains. My knees are shot. My right rotator cuff is ruined. My back is usually always at least a little sore. My index finger on my right hand is deformed and painful from a forklift crash. My pinky finger on my left hand is deformed and sore from a fist fight in my youth (still have bone fragments floating around in there)

Only good thing is that after years of working long hours on my feet, I now have a sit down (mostly) job

Careful what you wish for, I wished I could find a balance between working on my feet all the time and sitting down for 8 hours.

The punched nerve is a definite possibility. Diabetes could be the problem as well. For sure go to the damn doctor already.

I have a pretty good balance. I actually like my job ok right now.

First time I could say that since I worked at arctic circle

Don't be an idiot! Go see a doctor instead of know-it-alls on a Jazz message board. Seriously, check yourself, we kinda like you around here.

I bought an inversion table and am going to set that up the next couple days and start using that to see if it helps with my back and in turn any nerve issues that may or may not exist, and therefore, my tingling.

I have a compressed disc in my neck and I get tingly hands, usually starting worst at my pinkies and getting a not at all at my thumbs. I also get a "tired" mid back and need to get it adjusted every once in a while. If you have back pain and tingles, find a good chiropractor and get him to fix it. That's what I do. Chiropractors are under rated and should be able to fix you up in just a couple visits.

The inversion table is a good thing and it will help, but it will take much longer than chiropractor to see results. Like weeks. With a good chiropractor you will be at least 50% better after the first visit, and usually done by the second visit. They will also give you some simple exercises to do to prevent future pain.

I have heard those tables do work for lower back pain. Kind of stretches the spine and decompresses it

Not a doctor but 80% of the time you're looking at some sort of nerve problem if you're getting that tingly sensation, particularly given your history of back pain. Seek medical help asap if you haven't done so already
