Replacement coach for Lakers?

How is Phil jackson so bad at what he does? He was such a great coach.

Well I didn;t say that.. I don't think he's done a bad job in NY, he's certainly overpaid.. He's been able to maneuver thru the draft with limited resources better than past Knicks GM's.

His first choice was Steve Kerr.. Which was obviously the best possible option, his favoritism towards Rambis and Fisher is going to cost them for years to come though.. They might be trying to bottom out the next few years and tank on purpose (to get a guard to pair with Porz).. They don't owe any 1st round picks past this draft...

He'll be credited for the Porzingis pick.. and he fed Carmelo enough ******** to re-sign.. and with Willy Hernangomez coming over this season he'll have a pretty good rookie to put on the floor next season, without having any draft picks this year..

Robin Lopez wasn't a bad move, I thought he was overpaid at first, he's very trade-able on that contract though, and just solid overall..

Signings like Afflalo and Derrick Williams were pretty good, and fairly low-risk..

UConn head coach Kevin Ollie said he finds the open Lakers job “intriguing,” according to the Los Angeles Daily News’ Mark Medina.

He's in waiting in San Antonio. Why leave when, for all we know, Pops may leave after this year with Duncan? He'd inherit a great team, not the ****show that is the Lakers, ya know?

Walton makes sense to LA. And he shouldn't wait imo.

I wouldn't assume that LA is going to be in such a bad situation. With Kobe gone, I wouldn't at all be surprised to see the Lakers score big in FA. If they keep their pick, they could potentially score big in FA and pull off a win-now trade that puts them right back in contention.

I do! Piss on the Lakers!

LOL I understand.. If they strike out in free agency, which is extremely unlikely. The deck is going to be super stacked against those youngins.. They'll still have to carry the deadweight that is Nick Young..

I just figure, considering the current the landscape of the west, the Lakers and their doings are of minor consequence to the Jazz.

True but this isn't about them being a threat. This is about them being the Lakers and therefore deserving of being the new Kings.
