2016 NBA Playoff Thread

The Thunders depth is underrated the Warriors overrated.

Srsly Barbosa is ****. So is Ezeli. Speights is blah. Varejao is meh. Their starter Bogut is over the hill. Green is the only legit big they have and he is still overrated.

Adams is awesome. Kanter is serviceable. Ibaka is the third Big in this series are you SRS? Collison is meh.

The Wariors do have more but it's more thppp.

Thompson and Curry are doing something special, let's not give too much credit to the 8th and 9th players on the roster

Adams is really good but next to no offensive game. Kanter agreed but sometimes almost unplayable sometimes because of atrocious D Ibaka has been stinking up the joint big time. Roberson is nigh on useless, and he's cut the rotation down to 8 players because the Thunder depth is pathetic compared to GS

Captain Barbosa has slowed down from a Brazilian blur to a frame by frame sequence, Varejao is an absolute joke but Speights and Ezeli are very servicable backups and Iggy and Livingstone are terrific bench players

The Warriors, like the Spurs, have a system that makes role players look better and be more engaged.

OKC role players look to be in constant fear when they have the ball because they probably don't want to be criticized for not giving it to Durant/Westbrook.
Good post.

Captain Barbosa has slowed down from a Brazilian blur

True. I did see him turn back the clock on one play during the post season. The blur was back and it was awesome. But ya, he is old.

Lebron not settling for jumpers and relentlessly attacking the paint = scary.

Yup. Toronto should sag off on him.
Agreed. Every team should imo. If he is hitting the outside shot then you are simply screwed. But that is the correct way to defend him. Easier said than done though. He is a bull. And he can post you up. I felt bad for carroll trying to defend him in the post. LeBron is too big and strong.

who's the best in the league at defending LBJ one on one ?

Probably draymond. He has the size and agility and attitude and tenacity.

Actually James Johnson could do a decent job as well, but he is in Casey's deep doghouse and not getting much of the chance to try.

Or Kawhi maybe?
I thought about putting him down and I think he would be about as good as anyone not named draymond but bron would probably back him down and bully him.

LeBron is such a rare combination of size, strength, speed, and athleticism that he is really a mismatch for every player in the game.
He is so physically unique. I can't think of another player in history comparable to him physically.

I guess if I think of all time players to guard him I would probably choose rodman. Of current players draymond is the only one that I can see giving him any trouble.
