Looking for a new team

Replace their production not development. Sorry

I saw it posted somewhere, but my mentality is Champ pursuit or bust.

Which is why I would be on board with doing what it takes to get the #2 pick.

Swing for it with Ingram cus none of the guys on our roster are that central guy and I think Ingram could be.

I love our guys and have been the biggest Favors homer for a long time, but if the Lakers decide they want to get two young guys on their way up to entice someone like Durant to sign with em and skip a rebuild and are willing to trade the #2 with another piece for Favors and Hayward I'd do that trade.

People talked about Sixers model being wrong. They did it how I would want my management to do it.

Now they get Ben Simmons. True bottom out to get a real potential star.

Let's do it ladies and gents.

How long until the Sixers win a title, do you figure?

You apparently have no idea on how to argue without trying to change the argument. This wasn't about what the Millers goal was. This was what the goal/argument on Jazzfanz is. Those are two separate things.

I would be inclined to agree that the Millers may not be as dedicated to winning a championship as Jazzfanz wants them to be. I hope they step it up this offseason or it is another wasted opportunity.

Edit: I do try to be genuine, thanks lol.

Okay, let me try this one on for size.

Bro, I'm not making a poll so you and everyone else can reverse everything you've said over the last few months just to prove me wrong!

Face the facts: people here are not die hard fans anymore and want a mediocre "competitive" 2nd round bust of a team. They are so sick and tired of rebuilding perpetually that they want another Al Jefferson/Millsap type team again. Hell, now they're even saying they never hated Randy Foye! Don't make me pull up post quotes. I bet I can start with those in this thread claiming he was never hated. The guy was practically railed on day-in day-out for his defense.

And BTW, we would have been a second round team this season had Ty Corbin still been leading the charge. I cannot believe how poor QS is at rounding out the offensive-defensive balance. Corbin was possibly the best in the league in that regard. It really is too bad KOC didn't listen to me and trade that waste of bench space Enes Kanter to make room for Rudy Gobert. We may still have quite possibly the best coach in the league if he had.

I actually was sincere about your raw raw raw posts, however.

That's how I took it lol.

But all I see here is you having an opinion on what you believe Jazzfanz is saying that is not a shared opinion. You can say these things but cannot back them up and that's fine.

Even the one name you did drop, Siro, came out and said your representation of his stance wasn't really accurate.

The large majority of Jazzfanz does want a championship. There is simply strong disagreement on how to get there. Don't confuse the differing on what path to take with the intended goal. But you're smart enough not to confuse the two. You just like to have fun. So have it, it makes me laugh.

As for the Foye and Corbin side arguments, I am not riding that train with you. Corbin was strongly disliked here and I cannot remember on Foye but that is your bone not mine.

Sure they say it but do they really mean it? You can misread Siro all you want but he and may others say they don't care about a championship anymore. They've basically consigned their NBA lives to the fact that the Jazz will never win a championship and they should just give up. Should I quote Siro's post above again for you? He said he is not that big of a fan anymore, that this team is not that much of his life. Well, I'm here to tell you that real sports fans are different and if the Utah Jazz are catering to the New York Knicks types of fans like Siro then I want nothing to do with them.

How did that one work?

It's very clear, and I highly doubt anyone would try to argue that the Millers would rather turn a profit than win a title.

I'd argue that Larry was different, might only be memory bias, but it has changed.

I don't know why we're talking about Foye, but I remember it the way Franklin describes.

People were hostile to Foye, RJ, and Marvin Williams because they were perceived to be taking time from the youth and limiting their development potential. In case of Foye, people wanted to see more of Burks. I still remember the comparison people made of Burks to Wade.
