What's new

Who do you have on your "Boycotted Businesses" list?

- The 5 Guys Burgers by South Towne Mall in Sandy gave me the worst burger I've ever eaten and so I've never returned to that location for this chain.
- The Training Table in Riverton gave me a cold burger on a completely crumbling bun that likely expired LONG before on an unsanitary plate that had a petrified chunk of snot on it.
- Audrey's Design in Midvale/Murray for corrupt sales tactics.
- The worst food ever that made 1/2 my office violently ill from Tacos Daniel in Salt Lake City
- Tim Dahle Nissan in Sandy (sales side is EXTREMELY crooked, but the service side is acceptable).
- Ivory Homes (one of several examples with them) -was in a spec home that was being sheet rocked, but it was missing the bottom 2x4 in the walls. Usually the wall is assembled on the ground and lifted into place so I am not sure hoe this was possible but it is a sign of cutting corners to a point of not meeting code standards and yet they were sheet rocking it to cover it up.
-I have had other bad experiences at many places, but haven't boycotted them.

Don't you mean first wife? I know the English language is 'backward", but do try to keep up.

Yes, some languages have the modifiers following the object. "First wife" is a dangerous term. It could signify the polygamy princess "First Wife" or some ranking "Ex-Wife" in the pecking order of claimants for my earnings. Some currently legal wives of the popular culture of no-fault divorce devotees may also consider a reference to "My First Wife" a serious infraction. Nope, after considering the implications, I think I will scratch that "First" modifier entirely.

Make that "I was about to sign up until I asked my wife for advice, and then wisely heeded the counsel."

Which reminds me, I've got to get some lawn signs and wall signs to post along the sidewalks, parking lots, and parking meters near our courthouses: "Don't Feed the Lawyers". I think boycotting the judicial system would largely reform our entire society.

Ah, I might be trying this - I've had a late charge come on and off and then back on my Comcast bill for about a year now. The frustrating thing is I don't even pay my Comcast bill (my employer does) so I have to get all the check copies from my payroll department. And if I speak to one more guy from India named Chip, I might just lose my ****.

Go for it. If you've truly tried to deal with this over the phone multiple times already and gotten nowhere, I strongly advise pursuing said action.

MCDonalds, but not for anything more than I find their food disgusting.

Oh man, really?

Oh yeah that's the good stuff.

I refuse to eat at McDonald's after 10 am when they stop serving breakfast.
