Utah Jazz VS Portland Blazers -- Tue. Oct. 25th @8pm MDT

100% accuracy from the stripe combined from both teams. Feel like thats a good indicator that these teams are locked in early.

Diaw was bad, execution in the final minutes was bad.. Lots of positives from this game tho, team showed character in the 2nd half.

If two out of the three signings work as they did tonight this off season was a success.

You feeling a Noah Vonleh breakout year?

A bit of a bummer, but the Jazz played them tight despite missing Favors and Hayward. It just sickens me the Blazers go for like 60% from 3 point land every time they face the Jazz.

They are a bad matchup for us. I'd like to see us switch up PnR coverage every now and again. Dropping the big wasn't working.

We should have just doubled off of turner whenever he was in. I'd take a wide open three from him over contested Dame and CJ shots.

I'd take Turner attempting anything over anything else the Blazers do.

What the hell ... is this our ****ing motto??? I'm so sick of this crap.

Yes, I am sick of having multiple starters out due to injury. The team needs to get healthy and change the narrative. I agree. And yes, I completely expected the Jazz to lose on the road against a playoff team (their home opener, which oftentimes means they won't be sleepwalking through the game) from last year without two starters, one being the teams best player.

Dame is crazy though. Those layups over Gobert looked easy for him... no idea how he is able to do that... CJ got him once but Gobert forced CJ into some misses... didn't seem to phase Dame at all.

I feel like we matchup well with them after this game. We can murder them in the paint. We just have to do something to slow down Lillard and not leave Crabbe/CJ open.

They were hot too. I'd like to see us trap the pick and roll and make harkless or Aminu beat us.

This is why they are a bad matchup for us though. We ran them off the three point line pretty well... we force teams to take the long twos and mid range shots... both those guys get and make shots. It's really tough to cover especially if they are getting the touch fouls.

to me ,Jazz giving up 113 points is the biggest thing I saw ....earlier today a guy here said any lineup with Gobert in it was a defensive team .I said baloney if he has 2 guard 3 guys on the frontline.
I wonder how GHill will do guarding a bigger DRussell at PG for the Lakers

I'm pretty sure Lillard ties a silverback gorilla to the stanchion before he practices layups.

If I'm the Blazer I'd be scared... they have all that money tied up to back up players and they barley eek out a win against our depleted team!!!

I feel like a lot of that was the absence of Favors though. Gobert just cant switch out onto Lillard at all. Favors at least makes it a little harder on Lillard.
