Not sure where he's projected but I think Browning is going to be the best NFL qb. Kizer and Kaaya being mocked high is laughable. I can see Watson. His team wins like crazy and he has a body that's filled out pretty well for the pros and is very solid overall. But the other two guys stink and will get crushed. I really like Browning better though every time I see him. If I'm someone like the Browns, I make a pitch to Norv Turner to come on as OC, making him the highest paid assistant in the league, draft Browning in the 2nd or 3rd (unless he's mocked lower) so Norv can groom him, and draft defense like crazy with Garrett in the 1st as the stud pick.

I would never take a QB first overall. Only players I would consider drafting 1st overall are lineman. Got to have the fatties to be a good team.

I don't think so. There is a reason why Browning did not do well vs Utah. He isn't accurate in the intermediate and he floats the deep ball.

I've said all year that if he threw it deep vs Utah, we'd pick him off over and over.

He threw deep, Hansen picked him off, and they didn't throw again.

He is a clone of the kid Petersen had at Boise St. Smart kid, makes good decisions, doesn't have the arm.

Which two or three qb's do you like then on the pro level?

I reread your post and realized that I agree with you. He is a 5-7 round talent, will get mocked in the 2-3rd round, and some stupid owner will force his GM to draft him in the first round.

I wouldn't touch Browning as a GM, just like I wouldn't have drafted Goff either. Both have huge red flags.

Okay, fair enough. But who would your top 2-3 qb's be then right now?

Long-term, Austin Allen is my #1 I think. But he's a frosh.
