They are a dumpster fire because of Hornacek.
He will be fired soon enough.
Right, because they were so awesome before he got there. They need to trade Melo and build around zinger. Rose and Noah were big mistakes.

You never know. I wouldn't jump to conclusions, may have had a family emergency.Hahahaha, they were a dumpster fire long before Hornacek got there. Stop looking for the most unreasonable and outlandish position possible and taking it.
Edit: As for Rose he has texted family and friends that he is fine. Just didn't go to the game. He was benched in the 4th the previous game and got pissed so he decided not to show up to last night's game. Hope the Knicks bury him and it ends his career.
Rose isn't washed, he's in a terrible situation being asked to do way too much. His prime has passed obviously but he's not washed, just diminished (from MVP form..) Phil did an awful job allocating their $$ this summer - In doing so he put the team behind the 8 ball. Hornacek isn't a good coach either, I always told Knicks fans that after watching his stint in PHX. He doesn't seem to be built for NY either - He predicted a 3 game win streak before that embarrassment of a game last night (Davis would've dropped 50-60 on them without the Kyle O'Quinn flagrant 2 and Davis leaving the game)
Just look at the last time the Jazz played the Knicks -- Rose was the only one keeping them in the game in the 2nd half..
I watch pretty much every single Knicks game, things are souring there collectively. It's an obvious toxic environment, a la the Larry Brown Stephon Marbury/Steve Francis days. There's no accountability there on defense, which results in low effort- and given their defensive talent level, it's a recipe for disaster.
I do wholeheartedly believe there's some good landing spots for Rose to start in the NBA.. **** I'd say Sacramento's an obvious one.
I kinda like the idea of trying to swap Mack/Diaw + some picks for him as a rental to come off the bench, he'd be a massive upgrade.. It's a good spot for him IMO, Ingles is tailor made to play with him. Burks and Lyles are good fits too...
Joakim Noah was the deathknell... Over the summer I was staunch that they should've just started Hernangomez at C.

OK but what part does Carmelo play in all of this?Rose isn't washed, he's in a terrible situation being asked to do way too much. Didn't he hold the Knicks ransom last year with the no trade clause? I don't think Phil is very happy having him on the team and has been vocal about it for two seasons now if you'd care to read between the lines.
He plays no defense. Ball sticks when he's on the floor. He's leading the NBA this year for the number of ejections. Is that what your best player is supposed to do?
Phil should have just blow the team up last season and build around Porzingis but he was hand tied by Carmelo's no trade clause.
Rose sucks. He is his own biggest problem because he has the mentality of a thirteen-year-old, and the IQ of doorknob. There is no good spot for him to come off the bench because he will not. He can either start at PG for ****ty teams like NYK, or, yes Sacramento, or he can grow up and come off the bench for a good team. His play is not very helpful for playing winning team basketball especially when he is starting.
Hope everything is cool with his family, but my guess is he went there because his family and friends love him unconditionally no matter how stupid he is, how delusional he is, how much he pouts, and how high is butthut-o-meter reads at present.
