Jazz vs Bucks

dunno, i see other guys make similar mistakes and don't get yanked, particularly in such a demonstrative manner. I just think the way Quin is going about it is unneccesary, and i know you're totally a Quin dude between the way the refs call him and how Quin's handling him i feel for the dude.

Do you see the offense with Exum in the game?

He's still getting minutes which is more than I can say for Mack or even Neto on a nightly basis. I think it would be a lot harder to be the guy that filled in for Hill (winning a fair share) and then be relegated to the end of the bench.

so why bother putting him it at all ? I don't get what he's done with Mack either after thinking he was the better option for how long ?

So he can get some minutes. Idk what the problem is with using Exum for spot minutes here and there.

The leash is equal for everyone, it's just everyone else knows how to play NBA basketball.

I don't know how you can say that with a straight face. I am far from a Mack hater, and will even stick up for him when he's getting unfairly trashed, but there have been games when he's had multiple bone head plays over and over, and never gets pulled or ripped on.

Maybe that's changed a bit lately, but Mack has had a ton of leash compared to Exum this year.

Completely different kind of mistakes, and Mack has been pulled entirely from the rotation for repeating the same errors. Mack's mistakes are more just his limitations as a player showing themselves. Exum's are just not knowing how to play and be effective in what the Jazz are trying to do.

Jazz need to stop playing Exum as a SG. He is not a SG and is much worse at that position. He cant guard it as well and he is not a good guy to put in the corner. His strengths are passing the ball and getting into the paint. I wish the coaching staff would let him run the point and run plays through him when the game is over like this one in the last three minutes. It seems like the Jazz are trying to turn Exum into a 3 and D SG which I am not sure he will ever be good at. I think he can and will be good as a PG.

Clearly Exum is told to shoot the ball every time he is open for 3. I am not that worried about his shot yet, I think it will come along. He misses long or short on almost every three. But you cant get mad at him for shooting the open threes. If he didnt he would get benched even faster. Nothing makes Quinn more angry than passing up open threes.

Exum definitely has a shorter leash than anyone on the team. He can struggle this season but he has games where he is playing great and makes a small mistake or what the coaches think was a mistake and he is pulled and never sees the court again. Nobody else gets pulled for one mistake. I am sure Quin has a reason for his short leash but either way it is short.

I am getting worried about Hill. He is not playing that well lately. This calendar year he is shooting 41% from the field and 32% from three and his defense has dropped off lately. I guess he is playing closer to his averages right now.

Jazz dont play til Saturday, dont get your panties in a bunch.

you'd be singing an entirely different tune if someone sprained their ankle during meaningless minutes. It happens. Get Exum some time, etc. Meaningless minutes in January can smd

This. When u take into account how much injury the team has went through, and not to mention Hood going down with injury in this game, why tempt fate. That's all I was thinking as the game was winding down. Fatigue wasn't on my mind at the time. No need for key players to be in the game at that moment. I cringe every time Burks drives, because I just know he's about to hurt himself. Lol

he's 24th in the league in PPG, among the 284 players that have played enough minutes to qualify. that's better than 92% of the rest of the league, and still not elite?

That's kind of my point though, he's able to score without a particularly distinctive skill or physical feature that he is clearly head and shoulders above others in. Just solid at everything that leads to him being elite in scoring.

I wish Dante would just be told to aggressively try and dribble penetrate whenever he is on the floor, his speed is his biggest attribute, and the only thing that can make him a plus player at this stage of his development. I don't care if he scores it or dishes it out or turns it over, that is what he should be doing in my opinion, and you can see when he has done it, he seems more confident and plays better all round.

Similar to how I want Burks to play. Show them video of Westbrook taking it to the hoop, and let them loose.

What makes it worse is Snyder taunted Exum over mistake on offense as well making faces and apparently saying something sarcastic and walking away.
This looked borderline unprofessional.
