It's already more popular if you factor in global numbers. It's the more popular league. No one in China gives a **** about the NFL.

There are other factors, namely socioeconomics, that have largely contributed to that.

I agree. I don't see MLS becoming on par with top European leagues. I still see it as a stipulation for Soccer to surpass any of the top two in the US (NFL, NBA)

I dont think it necessarily has to pass the best league, it just has to become closer to that level of quality to where it can get better star power.
