I don't think it was genius. This game could have easily gone either way. And the Jazz were fortunate Popovich also decided to play his bench.

I think when home court advantage is on the line like this, you should play your best players. Quin tonight was like a guy who chucks up a horrible shot at the buzzer, but it still goes in. It's not a great decision, just luck.

Kinda ya. I have had really high expectations of him from the first time I saw him in scrimmage the summer before his rookie year.

I mean I didn't think he would be all nba first team center (and he isn't yet) but that's more because I thought other guys (Marc gasol, deandre jordan, and a couple others) would play even better than rudy has but those guys played worse than I thought they would. I would still pick Anthony Davis if he is considered a center.

Rudy's numbers are about what I expected. Maybe a tiny bit better.

He did the right thing. He knew Pop would pull his starters too and it would be a battle of the benches. I'm just surprised he puts Lyles broke *** out there. I guess Bolomboy wasnt part of the active roster tonight.

True but I think this remains true: I dont think anyone was watching the game thinking "losing this 16 point 4th quarter lead with our scrubs in what could be an important game is exactly what I wanted. Genius!"

The thing about Lyles is that we could probably sign any vet minimum PF on the market and have an instant upgrade. There will be a number of decent potential PF's available with our 1st round draft pick. If he doesn get his *** in gear he will be passed up in the rotation again. I assume we cut/trade Diaw, but I would be surprised if we just left that void for Lyles unconditionally.

You lost all credibility with the Diaw comments he has been valuable for the team and I think he possesses more basketball iq then you also
