So I'll go ahead and mention it... if we landed Crowder, would anyone be open to exploring Love again?
I was waiting for someone to mention that. Cavs are in salary cap hell.

Seeing as how DL is walking around the stadium giving ad hoc interviews to various media, it's hard to believe they are seriously working hard on an imminent deal.
Awesome story, how great would it be if that simple act of kindness helps Jae be super thrilled about playing for the Jazz (if the trade happens).Corey Crowder played for the Jazz in 1991-92. Here's the story about the Jazz giving his son (Jae) his old shoes.

Then they are dumb.
That dude with the face on the left it kind of blowing my mind
As I understand it, it's not so much about luxury tax as it is about the salary cap. In order for the Celtics to pay Hayword a max contract, they have to clear salary space. So they have to trade out some salary without taking any back. That requires dealing with a team that is under the salary cap (who wants the players), or possibly with the jazz in a sign and trade.
Sorry .. let me rephrase that.
I mean .. what would that mean for the Celtics?
What are their other options other than trade those that are under contract to avoid or at least go near the luxury tax line?
David Benoit borrowed John Stockton's shorts for that game...
I think that's Duane "The Face " Causwell.
Nope. Hayward fan. Came to jazz 7 years ago as a fan and genuinely love the jazz. I’ve even travelled from Midwest to SLC to see a game
I had planned to stay a jazz fan but add Celtics for Hayward.
The fan and media reaction to Hayward who was a UFA is so classless and immature I now hope the jazz are out of the playoffs for many years.
If this is how the city treats a class act good luck getting anyone to come here
Same here...my hate level for the guy would decrease from a 10 down to a 8.5Oh, and if Hayward pushes for this, I may actually forgive the last 36 hours.
Down to 5 for me. You don't see Clips fan getting angry that CP3 left. He gave the Clips a boatload of assets.Same here...my hate level for the guy would decrease from a 10 down to a 8.5

I think so. Unless Hayward agrees to take less.thanks.
so if they can't clear space?
then Hayward is up for grabs again to other teams?
apologies for these salary,cap,etc questions

Clips fans weren't angry because they didn't have to endure "The Indecision" and wait 6 hours for a garbage article to be written. CP3 handled his situation with class, straight to the point, no circus acts. I respect that guy...Down to 5 for me. You don't see Clips fan getting angry that CP3 left.
