What's new

Respect to Robyn Hayward's incredibly tough journey. Strongest NBA wife in the world.

I won't engage is bashing a mans wife and I do understand that some of this is sarcasm and quite funny to be honest.
But she has no idea what they just stepped in to. Hope he doesn't have any slumps there. His own fans will boo him and the media will be harder on him than any of the Utah Jazz fans have been. Big market fans are brutal.

See, what the **** is this?

Some might say Robyn asked for this **** by marrying gordo. I’d love for someone to explain that to me.

I can't explain his domestic life, haven't got much interest in it. I'm just saying a girl who works for me is fit, well fit, and young, too young, that's about it.

It's a pathetic thing to attack a man's wife or family when you despise the man. That's like calling Barron Trump a piece of **** when you hate Trump himself.

Amen. It's embarrassing being a jazz fan right now. Bunch of entitled babies.
Maybe sports just isn't for you. Maybe jazzfanz just isn't for you either.

I'm thinking of one that works for me right now, 22, looks like that *ahem* actress Riley Reid (don't goggle that at work) Jesus she's a walking lawsuit, I should fire her.
Love me some Riley reid

I'm with green and BabyPeterzz on this one. Some pathetic crap going on here.

Make sure everyone chime in with how much they disapprove of this thread while they stand on their moral superior pedestal. Relax folks, it's a sports fan forum, it's not like any of this **** matters and I'm positive none of this is actually getting to his wife. It's basically fantasy land. Let people vent.

Well, to be fair, I think her post was mostly directed at Jazz fans since we're the ones who are disapointed with their journey. She could just move on without enlightening us with a tired old quote.

Sorry.. apparently others have expressed the same view. I wasn't talking to y'all.

Yea yea... It's just a game and take the high road yada yada..

But what I can't get out of my mind is, that this decision was made almost 4 years ago. Probably as early as when Jazz matched the first time. This going back to Stevens really feels off. Sure it's his decision, but the Jazz should have never made this guy the center of their plans given he was in love with Stevens and couldn't move on. He really could have warned the FO.

Paul George is a LEGEND in how upfront he was - in comparison to GH.

And I really hate to say this. But how can anyone be really sure he played his heart out for the Jazz - as opposed to himself. Locke seems to suggest a lot of his decision is about establishing an individual legacy. He gets to go to the next 5 AS games probably. Wasn't going to happen here.

Hayward was a kid when he arrived in Utah. He leaves a pretty naive young man.

If she just ignored it, I think everyone would just move on. But once she starts pasting those lame quotes, I think it's fair game to respond.

I find her inane and a bit sheltered. But reading about how Gordon&Robyn met, I think it says more about Gordon who cheated on/dumped his long time girlfriend to marry an 18yo girl who had just graduated high school and was entering her first year of beauty school. Gordon doesn't strike me as the most mature or emotionally intelligent person. Which could shed a lot of insight into how he handled the Free agency situation.

Just my thoughts. Maybe I'm a terrible person to comment about this.

Or Hayward told Utah behind the scenes he wanted a trade but didnt go public....

I've heard people complain about players going public with trade demands cuz it lowers value, but if they dont and the team doesnt trade them, then they get blamed for just leaving w/o notice...

As fans we can never know the full truth, but there are rumors he asked for a trade last summer.

Are you that Stupid.

I'm in the Indiana Market, Pacer fan for over 20 years.

PG just set the Pacers back 3 years.

PG did not honor his CONTRACT, Hayward did. As a matter of fact, Hayward gave us his best year his last year getting us to Round 2.

If GH did what PG did last summer, 1 week saying Pacer for life, followed by demanded a trade with 1 year left STATING he only wants to play in LA so it's a 1 year rental, Jazz do not even make the playoffs last year.

I have been a Jazz fan following Hayward for the 7 years he has been here. I have watched EVERY game, listed to 75% of Locke daily so I get the passion.

I do not get the lack of respect for a kid wanting a change in his life. He owes no one a reason. no one.

Do the Jazz FO ask a player before they release or trade him ? No

Move on, you have gobert (at least for 4 years).

I was specifically talking about attacking his wife. I'm just saying it's not a good look, regardless the circumstances.

Hayward is a jerk cause there is nothing the Jazz could have done to keep him because of his lover. Whats the point of having a draft?

George did not demand a trade. Or if he did he had no power to demand it.
He made it clear he was not signing on again. It gave their FO a chance to get something for him and a year extra to plan.

I'm pissed cause I watched his buddy Shelvin Big Mack play last year so we were 'competitive'.

Hayward seems like a clueless chap. If he spent less time playing his video games and smelt the roses he would have better anticipated the hurt he has caused and the blowback for his pissweak players tribune piece.

Wow. If this is the case, Lindsay and Q needed to stop drinking their own bathwater and saw that for what it was.

She has put herself in the spotlight. She will be fine.

Not that I have read many of the posts in this thread. I don't condone nastiness. But if she wants to defend the hubby, she should be prepared for the blowback.

Are we really still talking about Hayward's wife? Seriously? Come on, move on people... this is not healthy.
