After Kanter and Knight I would probably look at Vesely before Kemba. (or replace Vesely with a couple of others)

Not no, but hell no to Vesely. Vesely, if he is to succeed in the NBA, it will be entirely dependent on the system he goes to. He could do well in a fast uptempo team that he is allowed to be a PF on. In a half court game he will struggle at PF or SF, and he is a god awful, like Ben Wallace bad, FT shooter.
 
Okay fine, I just don't want Kemba at #3 that's all .. I really don't know a lot about Vesely, Jonas, or the other euros ... would just hop for someone better than Kemba at 3. Knight or Kanter will do though.

I think all the Euros have pretty good upside, but Vesely is just terrible IMO. He basically is AK-47, but with way less offensive and defensive skills/instincts, but with more athletic ability/attacking the rim aggressiveness.
 
Just curious if you've watched the youtube of Rivers and Knight going head-to-head? I watched the game on tv live (as Knight had announced for UK at that time). Great matchup, it was.

I wouldn't. Brandon Knight looks like a chucking hopper going into college. Having a year to refine his play and cut his hair goes a long way as far as perceptions.

I don't agree in the slightest.

Well, in fairness, it works both ways. There are just as many Kanter naysayers as supporters. I feel my opinion is a bit more substantiated, having seen him play in the past year. Still a risk, but I would take it and not look back. Thankfully for some of you, it's not my decision.

****, I didn't know this about Knight. I'm sold. I'm being dead serious too. Looking at the last 10 years' winners, most have turned into great or very good NBA players. For Beal, this year's winner and Knight, the jury's still out. But the others, Lebron twice, Howard, Love, Jrue Holiday, and Oden twice tells me I like his chances. Three of those seven winners are all world, one led the league in rebounding, one has been marred by injuries which just flat out sucks, and one is turning into a hell of a pro in Holiday. That's a very impressive group, especially since Knight didn't win it on sheer size and/or athleticism like most of those other guys. Knight's play must have been pretty special for Gatorade to hand him the award again. And his work ethic to get there again speaks volumes.

**** it, swap with Cleveland who won't take Knight if they draft Irving, and try to pick up their early 2nd rounder. There could be a bunch of intriguing guys there.

Knight at #4, Singleton at #12 and Parsons, Mirotic or Vucevic with the 2nd rounder.
 
Do the above and trade Harris for Wes and in a year+, we could have:

Knight-Watson
Matthews-Hayward
Singleton-Mirotic-Evans
Jefferson-Millsap
Favors

That's a tight core of 10...
