I think they are saying that he is part Rodman in that he has great rebounding instincts. Not sure where the Howard comparison comes in. He isn't a monster on defense and definitely not able to match the athleticism of Howard. Maybe they are again referring to rebounding. As far as Dirk, they are saying he is a good shooter for a big man. Take all of this with a grain of salt because it is coming from his agent. Agents will say anything to make their clients more $$$$. I will say that the guy seems to have great rebounding instincts from the videos shown etc.

Coach Cal compared him to Karl. Personally, I believe that is because Coach Cal thinks the kid will probably be there at 3 and wants us to take him. Coach Cal seems pretty tight with Kanter and is going to try to praise the kid as much as possible.

No just because they are tight I think. Calipari is developing a reputation that players who play for him can ultimately become NBA talents, which will help him recruit top high school kids.

I am not saying there is no truth to Coach Cal saying Kanter has talent. I am on the Kanter boat at 3. I will say that Coach Cal is going to do as much for Kanter as he can to get him drafted higher. JMO.
