Sure, it'd be great to add a quality 3. But he'd better shoot 3s better than Ingles does if you're intent on benching Joe.

Joe's not getting benched anytime soon. It's just not happening, even if Paul George signs.

Ingles would have to move to the 4 in a Rubio/DM/PG/Ingles/Gobert lineup. That's not entirely a bad idea, but I'd worry about Ingles getting bullied on the blocks.
 
In the regular season, I have my worries about the wear and tear of playing Ingles at the 4 for too many minutes. For the playoffs, Ingles is probably best suited at the 4.

Against GS, he would be going up against Durant, Looney, Iggy or Draymond. None of those guys traditionally post up. Against Houston, its Tucker, Ariza, or Mbah a Moute. Same thing. Against Cleveland, only Love worries me but we would probably put Rudy on him.

Ingles at PF in the playoffs works against everybody but AD and Boogie.

I really think we could guard Golden State with Ingles, DM, Rubio, O'Neale and Crowder. Of course Durant shoots over anybody, but nobody is a switch nightmare. If McGee is in, we have Gobert in.

And anybody who watches Kevin Love closely and still wants to add him is crazy. The guy is often a liability on the defensive end. Does not protect the rim at all. And he is not an elite floor spreader either. Not interested

Agree, I want no part of Frye. I like Bjelly as well, I wonder if the jazz could convince Favors to be C/PF off the bench. This would be amazing. I could see Favors still getting 25 min a night.

On the flip side, he’d really help unlock the offense, and fit well with Gobert. Gobert can cover a lot of his defensive abilities. Also think he’d flourish more away from LBJ.
 
Only bring people in for a 1 year deal and go for the max on Klay next year. GG

Love would add a lot to the offense and his boards would be great. Added chemistry with Rubio is nice. Plus he likes Utah. He’s in a weird situation. I have no idea what to think and don’t know how well it works beyond 1-2 years. We don’t have the salary matching ability to trade for him, though, unless we happened to have a $30M TPE that we don’t have.

Burks + The Trio should work (not sure the Cavs would be interested in what the Jazz would offer considering they can't just absorb the entire contract).
