Following Potential 2018 Draftees

they couldn't afford them... do you dispute this? Kanter is about to opt out of almost 19million in salary next season for a bigger deal..

We would probably dispute how price is determined. I say the market determines price, things are worth what people will pay for them. I bet you guys are full of yourselves enough to think that you always know better than the market.

@NUMBERICA you show up to this thread last minute pretending like you've been paying attention. who do you think you're fooling? lol put me on ignore if you don't like my writing. You're here to talk semantics lets be honest. anyone who shows up here who read their little articles and listens to podcasts, who doesn't watch any amatuer ball has no business in this thread tbpfh cluttering it with ******** hot takes and aspersions you heard from a 3rd party that also probably doesn't watch that closely LOL.

Talk to me about basketball LOL. We should have a gofundme to bring me to Utah to beat members on this forum mercilessly in a 1v1 tournament.. get someone to make a video we'll get a hot beat and make a proper mixtape.. 6'1" 175lbs single digit body fat. 30 years old my vert in the mid 30's and I dunk in halfcourt offense and shoot lights out and dribble like an and1 player. I almost guarantee that no one here can stay infront of me. I catch bodies on the basketball court regularly. I'm the best player from my neighborhood. Second I walk on the court in my local run the regulars start barking cuz they know the **** is about to go down. I know how to do all these drills and **** they put these players thru, i used to do all sorts of crazy ****. would dribble with tennis balls all day. y'all don't know this sport like I do. I'll most likely crush you 1v1 im deadly 1v1, I score at all 3 levels with ease, my floater is lights out. i wish.

Why would he be a good team mate with Joe? Must admit I don't know anything about this guy but that's an interesting comment.

How many times has he told us he doesn’t care what we think?

And deleted half his old posts so we can’t see them?

The lad doth protest too much, methinks.

I stand up for the dude cuz

1) I can tell he actually knows a little about basketball
2) contributes info
3) everyone jumps on him

f the haters - keep me entertained Gilles

This is going to be such a fun draft. Phoenix, Sacramento, and Atlanta are predictably unpredictable and sometimes mind blowing incompetent. The next two picks might be the most stable in the lottery--Memphis is in a mediocre luxury tax wasteland, Dallas is run by an egomaniac who is trying to lay low after magically avoiding his #metoo moment.

Then picks by Orlando, Chicago, Cleveland, New York and Philly all are unstable and/or have shown a willingness to win a headline by making a trade.

#LockeWatch
Locke eliminated Melvin Frazier and Dzanan Musa from consideration in the first 2 minutes of his draft day podcast.

IMO it's all bur certain that if we go by #LockeWatch what we do is draft
1. Huerter if he falls to us
2. Grayson Allen
3. Mo Wagner...
4. dark horse option - trade up for Miles Bridges if he falls far enough.

IMO most realistically we draft Allen.

nbadraft.net made a single move on their latest mock draft edition and that's to move Grayson Allen from the 30s to 21 for the Jazz

DX/ESPN/Givony moved Grayson Allen to 21 to the Jazz in his latest mock today too.

edit: it seems like nbadraft has moved Allen up to 19 now.

Sounds great to me. Love me some Grayson Allen.

Players expected to go in the top 10:
Ayton, Bagley, Jackson, Doncic, Bamba, Porter, Young, Carter, SGA, Mikal

Additional players expected to be gone in the top 20:
Knox, Sexton, Miles, Williams, Z. Smith, Walker, J. Robinson

At least one of the following guys will be available at 21:
Brown, Okobo, Huerter, Musa, KBD -- I think these are the guys the Jazz are keyed in on. I also think the Jazz would trade up for someone in that 2nd tier.

There is buzz around the league that the Jazz like Grayson Allen, but I think it's a smokescreen. I think the Jazz like Brown, Huerter and Okobo more than Allen.

It would be a waste to trade up for J-Rob tbh.

I'm going to be blown away if we stay at #21. Honestly, I would be shocked.

There is so much chatter and teams wanting to move around. We need to take advantage of a team if we can. We have a half dozen players we like. Let's get two of them instead of just one.

Atlanta has #30 and #34
Philly has #26 and #38
Golden State has #28 and their 1st next year
Brooklyn has #29 and #40
Lakers have #25, #39 and #47

I hope the Jazz can at least do a small deal to move up to 17 and get the guy in our tier that they want. Justin Zanick should still have decent relationships with the Bucks.

If I'm the Bucks, I want Mitchell Robinson or a point guard to replace Bledsoe. Either can be had at #21, and it would only be dropping 4 spots to clear some salary.

A waste of a pick? Explain.

I don’t understand all of the Allen hate on here but it makes me want the Jazz to draft him even more.
I like about 15 players that are available at the pick better than Allen. Allen is old and IMO doesn't have the playmaking and shotmaking ability to justify not being a great defender and not having great physical attributes.
