Following Potential 2018 Draftees

I like how we keep trying to read everything into who Locke is pimping or not pimping, like we're looking into the clouds trying to find patterns that will tell us about the future. When we pick whoever we pick, we'll comb through his responses with hindsight and talk about how obvious the pick was.
 
I really think Okobo could be there at 21

12 and 13 Clippers: reportedly looking to get a PG (Young, Sexton, SGA) also reportedly considering Robert Williams, Jerome Robinson, Kevin Huerter
14 Nuggets: trying to trade down. A team trading up into this spot isn't likely to be targeting Okobo
15 Wizards: If they stay put they need a big
16 Suns: Holiday
17 Bucks: Trying to trade down or out. If they stay put they need center and wing help
18 Spurs: The one team I'm afraid might take him
19 Hawks: currently debating between Trae and Luka at the top of the draft. I don't think they take Okobo at 19
20 Wolves: I don't think they take Okobo

If we're set on targeting Okobo, Brown or Huerter, assuming we have a strong preference, we need to trade up ahead of San Antonio.

Not so bold prediction based on the stuff being talked about... either Okobo, Brown or Heurter are there when we pick... we need to take one of them.

Why? If Holiday, Robinson, Donte go top 20, as is being reported, then one falls. There is a ton of smoke out there, but I think there is an 80-90% chance one is there. If the cost is minimal I'll move up... if not I'm taking the guy that slips.
 
If 2 of Holiday Robinson or Donte go top 20 then we get Brown, Okobo, or Huerter... if Smith or someone else slips just take em I guess. I don't think we need to pay the premium requested to move up.
 
Even mid 40s... like our TPE and 52 for Meeks and 44 puts us in the range for some dudes I really like.
 


I also heard Minn really likes Divencenzo. Maybe since they don't think he'll fall to them they want to trade out. Some team better not swoop in and take who the Jazz like...

I think we could move up if we need to using some financial assets. Everyone looking to move around for dis and dat... but mostly salary relief.
