Hayward ruined last 4th of July.
Now Bjelica should make this a good one.

Cap space? No. But we have the MLE. I’m going to assume we don’t use it, though, because while some may see him as an upgrade to Jerebko, he’d cost more (and put us over the tax unless we dump Udoh, too), there aren’t many minutes for him, Jerebko has chemistry and has been a good soldier who doesn’t complain and is always ready and brings energy when his name is called. Is there any news on Bjelly?? Do we even have cap space for him?
Yes. The tax level is based on total dollar salary. The MLE just allows you to sign someone when you have no cap space. Can the MLE cause a team to have to pay luxury tax? For example if a team is a million from having to pay the tax, then sign someone to the MLE, will they have to pay the tax?

Im pretty sure that going over the tax to use the MLE limits you to the lower version of it - similar to what Cousins and Howard both signed for.Yes. The tax level is based on total dollar salary. The MLE just allows you to sign someone when you have no cap space.

Similar to Rodman and Phil Jackson, perhaps. But Rodman put in 100% effort on the court and he was weird. Whereas Boogie is a condescending dick to teammates. Which requires adult supervision.
No... if you start over the tax you get the lower one... once you use the MLE you are hard capped at the apron which is 130M... so there is a limitation there.
We won’t go into the tax... honestly and truly we should cut Jonas and sign Niang.
$3M cheaper.Niang looks like a NBA player. How much cheaper would he be than Jonas?
$3M cheaper.
No, it would actually be more advantageous to have Jerebko in that hypothetical, assuming he was in the deal. But there’s no reason for NOP to trade him. That could come in handy when we go after Mirotic or Butler, right? But I think Niang is probably a downgrade from Jonas.

López was good and then got hurt after we drafted him.
Jonas is bigger and a better athlete.
Fingerless?
