• This is a a re-vote of last years teams based on how they actually performed this past season so please vote accordingly.
• We voted on them before the seasonstarted and now we are voting on them after the season was completed.
• If a player was injured for a majority of the season then they should be counted as if they were injured in this matchup.

I am losing this one?! hmm.

I guess we really are a board of homers if Ellis who has a nice team wins. He has a nice team of Jazz players and a Utah favorite PG since he played college here. That team is worse than last years Jazz team by a decent amount though.

Nobody on his team is as good as Giannis or Embiid, those are the best players on the court by a long shot.

It’s basically Lillard/Gordon instead of Rubio/Mitchell with a worse bench too. You have four all-stars from last year. I just voted to tie it up.

Yep, Gordon might be good in the future but he was pretty bad last year, which is what we are voting on. He started off strong but really fell off hard. Mitchell is better than Lillard. Who choked in the playoffs hard and plays 0 defense.

Ron is easy the better team.

Gordon at the 3 is a catastrophic mistake. Spacing with Rudy and Favs is already iffy, Gordon makes it worse. Works against lesser teams, but Ron is too good.

I don't like either as a team, both have a good collection of talent but I don't see the vision as a team. I dislike Ron's team less, my vote goes to Ron.

KD/ Jokic/ Porter/ Tatum would have destroyed either of these 2 teams. JustTheTip

KD>Giannis

Embiid/Oladipo/Kemba>>Jokic/Porter/Tatum

KD is slightly better than Giannis. But they are pretty close. Giannis was playing out of this world good. Giannis put up 27, 10, and 5 on 53% shooting. Durant was 26, 7, and 5 on 51% shooting. Giannis also had better PER, VORP, WS, and BPM.

Embiid is much better than Jokic. Jokic sucks on defense and Embiid is elite on both ends. The only thing Jokic is better at is passing. This one is not really close.

Oladipo >> Tatum Tatum will be good in the future but this is based on last year. He isnt in the same category as Oladipo last year. Oladipo was an All-NBA player. Tatum stepped up a bit in the playoffs and scored more. But still wasnt even close to as good as Oladipo. Oladipo shot 40% from 3 on 8 attempts per game! Tatum shot 32%.

Then the last of the 4 big players is Kemba vs Porter. Kemba is a solid all-star player last year. Otto is a nice player who shot really well last year.

Giannis/Embiid/Oladipo/Kemba are easily better than KD/Jokic/Porter/Tatum

It would be a scoring fest for my team on Jokic/Tatum as your bigs "protecting" the rim.

Ill take the vote.

Giannis running the pick and roll with Embiid as the roll man would be very very hard to defend. Plus there are 3 other shooters around them that can also create for themselves and others. I think those starting 5 could give GS last year a run for their money.

How on Earth did Ellis's team get this far with Aaron Gordon as a starting SF next to two non-shooting bigs?
I didn’t pick the lineup. Ideally, with the players I have, it would work better to play Saric as the starting 3 and Air Gordon as the backup 4 off the bench. Not really a huge difference difference in their numbers, but much better spacing.

Come on, man. You literally haven’t said anything about it until now.

Not blaming you. Just looking at it, I should’ve said something when I first looked at it. I was busy helping my wife at girls camp and thought it, but didn’t mention anything.

It was my mistake for not making a point out of it. Don’t think it would’ve helped me much in this round anyways. Ron Mexico has a great team.

(Full disclosure - I personally think JTT has the best team in the competition. Otto Porter, KD, Tatum and Jokic would be sick.)
