The crowd kind of ruins it imo. That said, you can see a clear difference in debating tactics between the two.Ill watch some of this when I am at a computer.

He's probably not going to be for you. He's a provocateur and does well with controversial topics. I know, I'm bias on why a lot of what he says and understand why it resonates with me.I based my opinion on those tweets. The only other thing I have seen from him is the video you posted of the debate. As far as she goes I have seen the headlines in the news about her and gave them a quick glance over but she is of little interest to me. So I have not followed her story much.
I dont really follow people of that nature regardless of which side they are on. I tend to stick to news, journals, and real information. From what I can tell he someone that talks and gives his opinions on stuff. I have little to no interest in that, especially with politics. I have my own opinions, ill stick with news and info for that. He might be mentioned in the news but that wouldnt likely to be an article I would read and his stuff does not pop up for me. That is more likely that you click on stuff about him so you see lots about him. Or at the least find him interesting so you would notice his name where I would glaze over it.
Maybe ill listen to him some more if he is providing good information or news.
The thing with Shapiro is so many people paint him to be something he's not, or twist his words, or label him alt-right or use fear mongering tactics and propaganda against him. I mean, he plays that game to a certain degree with the daily caller, but at the end of the day, Shapiro is pretty level headed. The controversial topics he discusses he at least shows evidence of why he believes that way whether you agree with his rhetoric or not.
I used to think a lot of ****** things about Tommy Robinson because if things I was reading online or hearing. I thought he was a white supremacist and the Brittish version of the alt, alt right. Then I started watching his own videos and listening to what he says, his opinions on things, and his agenda. I've also heard him distant himself from beliefs he had when he was younger and explain why in a way I find convincing and sincere, he felt that way and why he changed. Imo, Tommy Robinson isn't a bad guy. I disagree with some of what he says, but it's bizarre to see his treatment. There's this one interview he does online where the news host is just a jerk to him, but he keeps his cool. The one annoying thing about him is he can talk over just about anyone.
This is a pretty interesting conversation where two people who think something about others, from what they see online, sit down and have a conversation. Just think if more people in politics did this instead of ******** on others, the world would be a better place.
Anyone who truly believes Shapiro to be a heavyweight intellectual owes it to themselves to read this piece, and reconsider.

Just a candidate to be just a member of the House. The funniest **** about the media and other opponets is they expect AOC to have a bulletproof understanding of every issue off cuff in every interview and allow her no wiggle room for error or to misspeak. The mainstream corporatist media is ready to tear her down at a moments notice. Everyone wants to take her down. She has more pressure to know issues front and back than any Senator or Governor and she is just a member of the house.
This. Can you imagine Steve King or Louis Gomert being held to that standard? And they've been congressmen for ages! The funniest **** about the media and other opponets is they expect AOC to have a bulletproof understanding of every issue off cuff in every interview and allow her no wiggle room for error or to misspeak. Ben Shapiro will be an elected politician soon enough.Ben Shapiro is not a politician. He is a celebrity political pundit. Why would an actual candidate have a debate with a person who will never be held politically accountable by voters?
Hard to believe he would want to do that with how much money he makes doing what he does.Ben Shapiro will be an elected politician soon enough.
This is true. He basically jerks it to capitalism and I know a lot of what he does and says is because it generates views and money.Hard to believe he would want to do that with how much money he makes doing what he does.
The guy even says - " here I am, a person who considers himself intellectually serious, and I have written off the other side without even engaging with its strongest arguments." So basically, you want a guy who's written off the other side to become the voice of reason and truth on the other side? Gtfoh. Lol
Considering Shapiro's motto is Facts don't care about your feelings, and his reputation for dealing with facts and ideas rather than insults, it's a valid critique. It started off hinting Shapiro isn't an intellectual because of his emotional comments directed at the clowns who protested him at Berkeley (because they're fascists crybabies.) Yeah, how bout no. Shapiro's treatment by the violent and sheepish antifa was baffling.
The line, "Shapiro scoffs at all claims that racism is a serious problem facing black people." Um, no he doesn't... Yeah, let's write a false absurdity and absolute about someone so people think he's a racist.
Reading comprehension fail. He actually wrote 'I’m sure Shapiro would be very pleased with himself to hear me call him a racist' that's a very different thing. The guy even hints that Shapiro is pleased at himself for being a racist. Shapiro makes arguments why he feels the way he does and provides reasons as to why he feels that way.
LOL providing an article is manipulative now? Ok.I'm sure there are some things in that article that are valid. Every politician is gonna have some **** on them, but the guy who wrote that is a far left guy trying to prove he's the intellectual. Sigh.
You're a pretty far left, progressive guy, Zombie so I don't blame you for thinking Shapiro is a dumb ****. It's hard for me to take you serious though when apologize for racist, embarrassing tweets and call them jokes though.
Maybe try not being manipulative next time you want someone to do something? Did I really owe reading that to myself? Mmmkay.
LOL, he simply said he hadn't previously taken the time to engage with Shapiro's ideas before and so he decided to take the time to do so, resulting in that piece. What's objectionable about that?

The article includes plenty of evidence for the claim. You might not agree, but it's far from an 'absurdity'

Is he running for anything?Ben Shapiro will be an elected politician soon enough.
Saying - I think this guy has an undeserved reputation and here's an article outlining why- is pretty manipulative. This is the manipulative part I referred to. Pretty much the definition of it.
There are paragraphs of examples of racist comments made by Shapiro in that article.Ok, the guy who wrote the article flat out calls Ben Shapiro a racist because he engages in race debates. Shapiro has thousands of videos of him on YouTube, I challenge you to find one of him where he's flat out being a racist. If he's such a racist, this should be easy, eh?
I should note, he did apologize for the satirical Columbus video (you can find it easily online if you want to see it) his interns posted while he was on vacation and gave a thorough apology about why it shouldn't have been posted and kept up. This has been discussed on here. Dude isn't perfect by any stretch, I just don't think he's a racist.
