Game Thread - Jazz @ Spurs 5 PM MTN

Our Jekyll and Hyde season continues. Which team will play tonight? Only the shadow knows!

If you let a team shoot 53% and not force many turnovers you're usually going to lose.

Yeah, but many of those were tough, low-percentage looks, especially in the 2nd half. If the Jazz could get offense out of Crowder and Ingles, the game would have been different. Rubio came around eventually, but we're not getting enough offense out of the forward spots.

ingles didn't give us anything, but the spurs just caught fire from mid range.....like 54% shooting.

Besides the 2nd quarter I thought the Jazz played pretty well. Spurs were mostly just hitting difficult shots.

1st quarter the offense was great, but everyone was missing wide open 3's. Then I felt like that just carried over to the 2nd quarter and they started over-thinking. By that time the Spurs had too much confidence and everything was falling.

That's what happens when their defense can pack the paint because the Jazz aren't hitting perimeter shots or making good passing decisions.

They don't pass with confidence because they aren't confident of who to pass to that can make a shot. Terrible shooting is a cancer.

Favors goes from what, 23 points last game to 2 tonight.

He only took 2 shots. It's tough when defenses completely sag off of some of our poor shooters, it really messes up our offense.

I mean, that's not why our offense was mediocre tonight. Good shooters got wide open shots from 3 all game and they missed them.
