What's new

Dante has been out forever because he ded

Man... by the time he gets back In shape the season will be mostly over. This sucks. Why didn’t we draft a point guard again? Like seriously, why didn’t we knowing the injury history and ineffectiveness of our point guards? Did we think Allen could play the point?

Is there a WC playoff team that has worse PGs than we do? It seems like we put a ton of pressure on certain positions to compensate for our glaring deficiencies at PG. it’s times likes these where I genuinely feel sorry for Mitchell. He’s being asked to do more than Westbrook, DLIL, Steph Curry, and many other stars. Outside of Lebron, who’s asked to do more with less?
Tell him to pass the ball and U might get some help

He can’t stay healthy long enough.

Saying he’s not injury prone is one of the most demonstrably absurd things I’ve heard suggested on this board.

Dude he’s had one non contact injury. And no recurrent types of injuries. Just a couple of unlucky on s that unfortunately have been serious

My question is, did the Jazz know about the bone bruise all along, or did they just find out now?

If it's the latter, that's worrying.

And I’m saying At some point you gotta cut your losses. This year was his last chance. He’s blown it. If he can’t play well for most of this season then he needs to go. Which he really hasn’t done aside for 2 games prior to this “injury.” Jimmer was also drafted high but teams had the good sense to finally let him go. We need to do the same.

There are other players out there who could give us better production. Hell, Gerald Green was sitting on a couch when Houston called him up. I doubt anyone here would prefer Dante Exum over Green right now. Morris, Manimal, and Rivers were all picked off the scrap heaps it seems and all could’ve given us positive minutes if we’d just cut the umbilical cord from Dante. We have so many players on our roster giving us zero. The Niang experiment failed, Allen has been a bust, etc. Screw chemistry, we need talent. Right now Gobert, Mitchell, and jingles are being asked to do too much.
So give him his 27 million owed and let him walk

It was a double OT game, 35 shots isn't that crazy for somebody who we consider our number one option. PG had 31.
I agree with that. But only 14 of them isn't good enough. When I watch the jazz play he plays so much better against bad and mediocre teams

Yeah 14 isn't ideal certainly. But PG vs Don. One is at the peak of his powers, the other has another 4 or 5 years until he even hits peak.

PG also has Russ relentless attacking the rim and putting pressure on Gobert and the Jazz' defense in general while Mitchell has 4 other guys running blender after blender to get a contested 3 whenever he takes a play off.

Is it just me, or is it weirdly annoying when a poster doesn't have an avatar photo? But, I digress.

For sure he's only a second year player. I don't think he'll ever be as good as pg right now though. He's to small
