He didn’t sign Flacco he traded for him. You realize getting “the man” at QB is extremely hard right?

What did Keenum do for the Bronco’s last year, what did Flacco do for the ravens last year? The only thing that lifted the ravens to the playoffs was Flacco getting injured, and when he was back Healthy he stayed on the bench in favor of a rookie.

What does that say about Flacco? That team was going nowhere with Flacco, that this team was good enough to win a ton of games and make the playoffs under a rookie QB, who’s best asset is his legs? It means Flacco sucks and isn’t worth ****. There were better options on the market, it was a bad move. We’ve seen Flacco can’t elevate a team with his arm anymore, hell even Keenum is a better option ROTFL. Sure it’s a significant move, a significant move in the wrong direction.

Not a shock. I didn't believe for a second the BS Gettleman was peddling - The Giants sat Beckham for the last 6 or 7 games of the season for what apparently was a phantom injury. I'm sure that was a trial run for this coming season. And not a bad haul - a first, third and a starting caliber safety with a decent contract to replace Collins.

The cap ramifications are brutal - a 16 million hit in dead cap space; which I'm to understand they can split 4 mil this coming season and 12 mil in 2020. They can off-set the 2020 hit when Manning presumably comes off the books - but that's still a tough nut to carry.

Honestly, he sort of was. They weren’t a dominant defense that year. They were just okay. And in the post-season, he crushed it with like 10 tds and 0 interceptions.
 
Had dinner with Bill Romanowski the other night. He told me about going to John Stockton's house for treatment after a game in Denver. Turns out the Jazz team trainer, Dr. Buhler, became Romanowski's key to playing the most consecutive games in NFL history. Buhler started helping him when the NBA went on strike in 99 and worked with Romo every single game week for the rest of his career. Romo mentioned how healthy the Jazz were at that time, largely due to Buhler.
