As cranky as I was 4 months ago, I would take this schedule any season. Hard to start, easy to finish. Much better than the opposite.

Houston, Utah and Portland are going to be close. Portland holds the tie-breaker against Houston due to going 2-1 in the season series. The Jazz could end up in a 4/5 matchup with Houston. Not ideal. It'd be nice if Portland would drop a couple extra games.

Utah survived their early brutal schedule and are now building confidence and momentum prior to the postseason.
People called out the schedule makers while I kept reminding them the schedule was actually great and would allow Utah to outperform in the playoffs.

I'm glad Budenholzer is no longer coaching Atlanta. He seemed to have our number when he was there. Don't know if it was his familiarity with Snyder or what, but some really bad Hawks teams beat us during that era.

Mitchell has pulled himself out of the efficiency abyss.

3pt% is officially above last year. Overall he's just .4% behind last year. Considering where he was at the first couple months that is an extremely impressive turnaround. His 2019 has been incredible.

If he continues to look like this for the entirety of next season then I will officially have all my questions about the kid answered.

Yeah, agreed. His TS% of 53% is now pretty respectable. Sort of middle of the pack, which isn't too bad considering he's a 2nd year player that carries a large offensive load for his team.

I think we may have a lot more confidence to going all the way this year due strictly to the momentum we are likely to be carrying going into the playoffs.
