You get me anywhere near those and they will disappear. It doesn't matter what size bag they are.

Didn't we already have this thread a few months ago? Oh well. Here you go, best potato chips on the planet.

I'm in the middle of a TWIX phase. Those, and Mini Sweethearts -- the chewy kind -- delicious.

Kale chips! They actually tastes just like potato chips...and they're good for you!

are those the actual chips? it just looks like pieces of kale - is this something you buy ready-made or do you make it yourself? Sold at the regular grocery store or only at a specialty place?

We've just gotten into kale this summer, I like to sauté it in olive oil with garlic and onion, and maybe some other veggies. It has a nice flavor.

Combos

I'll go through a bag in minutes.

what flavor? we'll buy the cheddar flavor from the vending machines at the bowling alley, it seems to help our scores. I like to let it sit in my mouth until all the outer salt dissolves and then try to suck the cheese out of the middle until the pretzel collapses. Fun stuff!!

Yeah, they're the actual chips. Although, mine usually look like this...

Kale chips taste better right out of the oven...so I always make it myself. It's not hard to make. Just peel the leaves into bite-size pieces, cover them with olive oil and salt, and bake 'em for 10 minutes or so. They burn pretty quickly, so keep an eye on them.

Also, raw kale is an excellent veggie to use in green smoothies.
