Teaser will be with Harry Potter on Friday too.

I think I already started this thread and showed Bane's pic along with it about two months ago. Nevertheless, yes, I'm stoked. Hardy's the man and I can't wait 'til Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.

Budget:
$250,000,000 (estimated) (from imdb)

This has got to close to a record doesn't it?

That's way up there but probably lower than Avatar's budget. Avatar had some numbers citing as high as $500 million with a commonly accepted figure closer to $400 million. The most recent Pirates of the Carribbean also was in the $250 million range.

Imdb has 237,000,000 on Avatar. But wouldn't be surprised if your 400M - 500M number was right. Good call.

I thought of Lords of the Rings. But even with all the money they spent the fact they filmed all three right in a row probably saved them some major cash.

POTC 4 250M estimated. Including $55,500,000 to Johnny Depp alone.

What is the most expensive movie (adjusted for inflation)??? I learned about this from the studio tour of the company I am interning at right now.
