Jazz Decades NBA Fantasy Draft

You are aware that only his Jazz career will be taken into account? You are drafting the Walt Bellamy who scored 6 points and got 5 rebounds, once.

lol, what was the story with that? guess he wanted to retire in new orleans?

i guess you can pick him but you are getting a old guy that was retiring not the Bellamy that is in your description

Yeah but every single one of those points and rebounds were huge, and was likely the difference between the 1974-75 Utah Jazz finishing 23-59 or 22-60. :D

With the whatever the hell pick I am in 70s craptastic pool er Jazz round:

He was a pretty average player for a couple years. He did however have a pretty pimp mustache and some oddly place upper chest/frontal neck hair.... He'll be best used fending off the white hoes from Kobe.

I don't know how the hell I'm able to draft someone that could conceivably contribute at this point, but...

With the 8th pick of the 2011 1970's Utah Jazz NBA Draft, NUMBERICA selects...

JOE MERIWEATHER

In one season with the Jazz, he put up 9 ppg, 7 rpg, and 2.2 bpg in only 23 MPG (a per 36 of 13.5 PPG, 10.5 RPG, and 3.3 BPG). Actually fills a position of some need and a role of some need (enforcer off the bench for my big rotation) for me. I am amped I got someone I might be able to use here.

P.S. I am aware this isn't a picture of him playing with the Jazz. I couldn't find any.

With the 1st pick of the worst round in this entire draft, NUMBERICA selects the only guy worth a damn...

AL JEFFERSON

First and foremost, there is no one left on the Jazz in this round that has proven anything. Deron, Millsap, and AK have already been drafted. Hayward and Favors have shown a lot of potential but as a whole almost nothing else. Harris laid bricks like he was paid to (around $9 million). And then a washed up piece of garbage, a chucker, and some hustling scrubs. It might turn into something, but holy crap (choice of words deliberate).

But sure, I'll take the guy that put up 19, 10, and 2. Last year was also his second-highest total point output of his career.

1 - Frazier/Lebron
2 - Miller/Griffith/Korver
3 - Lebron/Miller/Korver
4 - Malone/Jefferson/Duncan/Lebron
5 - Duncan/Jefferson/Meriweather

Fortunately he's coming off the bench and there are lots of other options. And seriously, who the hell else even cracks one of these rotations that's left? Harris. MAYBE.
The 2010's Jazz round is so strong, I'm actually hoping Raja Bell is left when I pick 8th...because I know CJ Miles will likely be long gone. *shaking head* Did Marcus Cousin display any solid towel-waving abilities during his 10 days with the Jazz?
