Ahh I think I just got caught in that wonderful recency bias.

There was a stretch of about 10 games 2 season (maybe even 3 seasons ago) ago when he was just insane. Averaging like 22 points and 19 rebounds and 4 blocks or some ****. I remember looking at his game logs on basketball reference and being blown away. Had 3 20/20 games during the stretch iirc.

He is playing amazing right now though and this (the whole season so far) is the best perimeter defense from him i have ever seen.

I’m behind but this is one of the worst officiated games I’ve seen this year. Went from calling every hint of contact in the first to basically blood sport in the second. A little consistency would be nice.
