Yeah, very poor choice of words...I thought this thread meant there was another mass shooting.
Well if I had my druthers I would have called it the Solstice Slaughter.I prefer the Festivus Purge of 2019.
But solstice was the 21st. Festivus was the 23rd.Well if I had my druthers I would have called it the Solstice Slaughter.
Who knows when the FO saw the light of a new dawn? But solstice was the 21st. Festivus was the 23rd.
It was strange, but it's also the same thing that happened with Joe Johnson. The Jazz played him til the end they agreed to part ways. The Jeff Green waive is strange. I wonder if it is a sign of friction/misalignment between Snyder and front office. It could be that front office wants to see more of the young players and coach preferred to stick with the vets. If the front office wanted to force the development of Brantly and Niang then this is the type of move you make. Will be interesting to see if TB gets more playing time over Davis in the coming weeks.
The idea of a conflict between Snyder and the FO does make sense. I can see with Quin not playing Dante, this was a submission to Quin. But the waiving of Green seems to signal a FO power play.I think both moves signal QS's rising power in the organization or upper management's acknowledgement that some of the decisions they made were incorrect.
Either way it's a good thing.
