Addressing our deficit at power forward

When your bench gets out scored like ours does nightly anything will help. Just tired of hearing the same names tossed around that are injured or unattainable. The only two pieces the jazz may move now are Davis and nwg.

What about Mudiay? He's the sexy piece, the expiring shiny lure with playing time and stats, that's going to catch something for us. With Conley returning, Clarkson coming in, and Tucker in the wings, I think he's the guy to deal. Straight up for Mike Muscala of the Thunder (both make min. - no picks unless coming back), guy can play, in the Ilyasova mold and may be top ten at the charity stripe career (90% a few times including this season).

I am in agreement that the real problem is a back up center. Udoh would be an upgrade on both sides of the floor than what we currently have. Maybe next year.

Right now the Kings are about to implode. They lost another close one tonight to the Suns. Dedmon, Gilles or Swanigan might be pieces they are willing to part with.

Why Big on the knicks is the missing piece and how drunk must we get their GM to Give us this missing piece for Conley?

I don't full endorse trading Conley, but I'm bored on the trade machine.

Utah: Gets Thompson to play backup C for a year. Would be a massive upgrade. Otto Porter is overpaid and has a foot injury and doesnt expect to return until after the break. If he returns to form he's a high level shooter who has defensive versatility off the bench.

Chicago: Gets a legit starting PG for a playoff push. They are currently just outside the 8th seed.

Cleveland: Get's Gafford who has potential as an athletic center

who was the center in the floor... was it Ed Davis Jeff green or Tony Bradley... because that is our biggest hole and the reason those lineups would suck.

Put Marcus Morris in for Royce or Paul Millsap or whatever 4 you think is average and I don’t think we are better.
Like I said in the above post, DM's numbers were actually better with Rudy off the floor. Do you think him playing better was because of Ed/Jeff/Bradley? No, it was because with Rudy off the floor, we are allowed to play a more offensive style of basketball with a lot more space/ball movement. So yes, I do believe we could get better if we have someone like Morris or Millsap because 1, they can actually bring values at the 4 as opposed to Royce, who's more of a wing/perimeter defender and relied heavily on Rudy on both ends when deployed at the 4
2, their skills on offensive would allow us to play at a different style/pace.

Even in the W last night we got owned in O boards because whenever Rudy goes out to contest, we absolutely had nobody who could box out/cover behind him and secure those boards for us. Just imagine us not catching fire from deep the way we did and Clips hit some of those easy shots that they used to, it'd be a easy L simply because they've got a much larger margin for error.

You’re cherrypicking stats and scenarios

I like Conley, but with the addition of Clarkson and rise of Mudiay, if there is any way to swap out Conley for someone of equal ability at the 4, who can also backup at the 5 if necessary, I would consider doing this. Swapping Conley for a bench 4 or 5 doesn't thrill me (but might consider if getting good picks too). Maybe Clarkson or Mudiay for a backup big. Props to Oneale on getting 9 boards last night. If he is going to be the 4 though, I'd like him taking more 3s, to exploit weakness of bigger opponents.

Did you forget which account you’re signed into?
When you answer my question I'll answer yours. The post you referenced made a reasoned and evidenced case, and you pull some trite rebuttal out of your buttt that appears to be based nothing. I'm just wondering if what you say is based on anything at all, because it looks like it is not.
