...to sign Stockton and Malone to shore up the bench? Easily as good as anyone else on our bench even now. Imagine Malone and stock getting 10-12 min per night, or there for injury insurance. They have both stayed in shape. I guarantee stock could step right back into it. Malone might need some time up get up to speed, as I'm not sure of his gym rat status. The oldest players to ever win rings? Why not?
 
Pretty confident Malone could protect the rim from the bench better than the status quo.

For one or possibly two possessions they could play. Other than that we'd risk seriously hurting Jazz hero's. Father time is a real thing people.
 
Playing days are over.

Not sure what their status is within the organization. . . but they should be team ambassadors / spokesmen for life.

When the Jazz win a championship, those two had better get a ring.
 
Ever watch the Big 3 or a celebrity game and see the guy one or two years removed from the league... it ain't pretty. Life comes at you fast... love those guys... this is some absurd **** if serious.
 
Sure why not? How would they be any worse than our other 13th through 15th players? Nice nostalgia bump. Could surprise for a few minutes a game . Get them their rings. Win-win

No... just no... they could be worse the same way that when I was 25 I was torching 50 year old dudes in pickup that were ten times the player I was in their prime...

That’s perfect. If he can come in and average 8 points every fourth game, we’d only need to offer him a 9 year contract for him to catch Wilt. Only 4.5 if he played every other game. Perhaps even less if you sent him in during each garbage time and kept him on one side of the court and didn’t let anyone else touch the rock except to rebound and pass to him.
