Kanter is coming along but has some work to do to become more effective. He has come a long way since that first game against the Ukraine. His defensive rotations and skill level must improve as it already has. He still looks uncomfortable out there to me sometimes, so in a way this is on-the-job training for him. He's responding fairly well. I also noticed he was passing from the block a lot more frequently and smoothly today. It really helped the overall smoothness of the ball movement. I often forget how many things he must be trying to improve after this long break from competition. Drills can only go so far. Turkey is making their shots now and the guards have been fairly good, but hopefully they don't get into a jump-shot match. Preldzic was impressive. He was often guarded by Deng and has a lot of skill.
