Heat - donovan mitchell is 23, and he's the ****ing truth

Clippers - 3rd highest all time behind Jordan's 63 and Elgin's 61. All-time great is right.

edit - top 11 playoff scoring games

63 - Michael Jordan

61 - Elgin Baylor

57 - Donovan Mitchell

56 - Wilt Chamberlain

56 - Michael Jordan

56 - Charles Barkley

55 - Rick Barry

55 - Michael Jordan

55 - Michael Jordan

55 - Michael Jordan

55 - Allen Iverson

Warriors - Not to be a douche, cuz Mitchell obviously did have the game of his life...but I think with the lack of crowds and better depth perception, bubble stats are abt to be wild. We may see a few more 50 pieces this year. Feel free to @ me if/when I’m wron

Celtics- That's some Jordan ****

Nuggets- He really put his all into the game. Insane watching him ball.

Thunder- That was a beautiful performance

Raptors- Donovan Mitchel is undoubtably a STAR.

If he keeps it up, this will be a much better series than I expected.

Nuggets- Late in the fourth he just couldn't miss. I was so relieved when he missed for the first time in 10 years in OT, I thought it was impossible

Heat- This is the exact moment Don rose to real superstardom

Pacers- This team with a healthy Bojan, Conley, and one or two more bench players takes a ring

Nuggets- Dude is insane. I don’t remember seeing him miss a shot after the first quarter. GG Jazz. That dude is a killa

Warriors- 57 and still not enough..Man..I honestly think I am living the pinnacle of modern day basketball..too many legendary moments in this bubble.

Bulls- Wish we could have seen this team in the playoffs with Bogdanovic. Get this man a second option!

Unk- The most striking thing about this performance from DM for me was his seemingly unending stamina. I’m watching this man walk to the free throw line with like 45 pts with 5 minutes to go in the fourth and he legitimately wasn’t sweating. Scary stuff.

Unk- Damn 57 points and that’s with (iirc) 2 points in the first qtr.

76ers- I was really expecting him to be far less efficient, good for him. Tremendous game

Timberwolves- This dude... I'm always wary about young stars and their differences between regular season and playoffs but this guy has it.

Celtics- Absolutely legendary performance, Donovan is such a good player.

Mavericks- And he shot over 50%...you don't see that often

Pistons- Am I the only one here who didn't realize that the previous playoff high among active players was Isaiah Thomas dropping 53 against the Wizards in 2017?

Bulls- He carried them hard. Outside of Clarkson and Ingles no one else created offense. Gobert is great with screens but as a roll man he's inconsistent and it slowed Mitchell down.

Bojan and Conley were sorely missed. As is their need for other perimeter defenders.

Unk- Superb game. When Donovan is hitting outside shots what the hell are you gonna do to stop him?

Warriors- It's wild that these undersized tweener guards with varied skillsets are just going off in the West rn (Lillard, McCollum, Mitchell, sort of Jamal Murray but he's not undersized). In some ways it seems so reminiscent of a prior era (think about all of the undersized scorer/ball handlers in the late 90s and 00s) and in some ways it feels so fresh (hyper-efficient shot selection, different type of supporting cast, mostly 3s instead of deep 2s unless perimeter is guarded, etc)

Pistons- Spida is a bad baaaaad man. I really like Kennard, but....

Nuggets- Unless Gary Harris returns, Spida will torch us in every game. He may do it even with Gary coming back, but usually the combo of Harris, Craig and Barton will keep Spida down to ... 30?

Warriors- Unless Gary Harris returns, Spida will torch us in every game. He may do it even with Gary coming back, but usually the combo of Harris, Craig and Barton will keep Spida down to ... 30?

Nets- Say what you will about him being inefficient, dudes a killer. He’s carried his teams offense solely for 3 seasons, for the first time he had help w bogey this year and now he’s injured. He has to go against the opponents best defender night in and night out and still is able to be a clutch *** dude. I’m a huge fan, I’m also a fan of booker I hate when ppl like to hate on one or the other just respect greatness

Nuggets- Mitchell is seriously so underrated. He was UNSTOPPABLE. If he had Bogdanovic, they'd win that game in normal regulation. Respect to the Jazz, man. Rocky Mountain basketball is heating up

It is absolutely ******** that his performance isn't even an article on the ESPN front page. More importantly, its not even on the ESPN NBA front page.

I hate that Utah players don't get the pub that others do. Doncic goes for 42, and the media kisses his ***. Donovan went for 57 freaking points.

MJ lost in his 63 pt performance. He went on to win 6 championships. I like how this is trending.

Yep, and Don had a better performance

Don had more rebounds
Don had more assists
Don scored 57 on 33 shots. MJ scored 63 on 41 shots.
Don only got 13 FT. MJ got 21 (and he missed 2).

Don actually played against good perimeter defenders instead of a bunch of stiffs.

We have to combine that with a win to get the attention. Even then it's a blurb. But with a loss? Not worth their time.
