But after we are done with Tool we may want to do it again and retool. I think the organization needs an Aenema... I'm praying for a tidal wave myself.

Nope, I wanted AK gone. Our best bet at a title is over the next 4-5 years. If we trade Gobert, we will wast Mitchell’s best years as it will most likely take a long time to rebuild.

without Gobert we won’t be good enough to contend, and not bad enough for a decent draft pick. If you trade Gobert you might as well trade Mitchell.
 
I would like to aquire Beal. Make it so. Oh and have them throw in that 3 point sharpshooter too

You aren't following my logic at all.

I've said all along - keep Rudy on a fair contract.

My trade ideas for Rudy are based on the premise that either Rudy wants too much OR Rudy might leave for nothing next summer.

No!!! You aren’t understanding me!!! First pay him whatever he wants. Second, if you dump Gobert you may as well trade DM because he’s going no where without Gobert. That’s effectively wasting Mitchell’s best years. If Gobert is gon who is UTAH JAZZ getting to be a star along Sid DM? That’s what I thought.

If you pay Rudy whatever he wants, we can't afford anything around Don and Rudy. Duh.


Don was the reason we beat OKC in 2018. Favors was as important as Rudy in that series. Maybe we rely on Rudy too much come playoff time. Maybe we should try something different. Riding Rudy doesn't work. Ask Jokic

Mitchell is 24. He'll be in his prime the season after next, if not next season.

So, you’d rather watch the jazz in mediocrity through Mitchell’s best years. Why the **** do we need money. No stars are coming her but through trades or the draft or both at the same time. We have a better shot at building a true contender with Rudy than without. We just need some luck or take advantage of a nuggets like team.
